These tend to go back in stock around the time of release, which is mid July. I don't think your chances are blown after today. I also think that since this was already released, perhaps fewer people will grab it in person.

For a split second it actually came back into stock and I once again had it in my cart, payment put in this time, and it disappeared again before payment went through.

Thing is I basically never go into a Target anymore. The whole reason I buy online is because I HATE having to constantly chase shit through my local stores because they so routinely sell out or never get stuff in.

A while ago, but they never said what time, so if you lucked out and saw someone post about it you were golden.
 
Marvelous News put out a reminder yesterday on their site referencing what was scheduled for Target Summer Geek Out Day 1 for Hasbro.

I would've missed it too if I weren't waiting on an early morning FedEx delivery.

I think it would be fair to say that quite a few people don't have the BAF at this point given that it was released 10 years ago, and the head is from a different wave entirely. I happen to own that one, but at this point I usually just wait for a single release for any given BAF.
 
Yeah, I've seen Preternia and Toy Shiz post about the 9 eastern and 6 pacific drop. I set an alarm and ordered everything with no issue. But spent like 400+ in the process...
 
What is really irritating me is it KEEPS going back into stock when I refresh the page and then disappearing when I check out.

I'm just annoyed because I knew this one was coming and was ready to jump on it and just had the time wrong by not even a full hour. I'm more annoyed because I had it in my cart and it disappeared at checkout 3 times. That's what's really burning my ass.

I'd say keep an eye on the page, like you're doing. I don't know if it'll go back up officially within the next couple days, but they usually do go back up closer to the release. Keep it in your cart, or favorite it (click the little heart). And I'd recommend following Preternia if you don't already. Their IG sends me notifications WITH links whenever things go up. The links are a time saver and a life saver.

I follow Preternia on Insta and Bluesky, though I don't do notifications. Like I said I knew this one was coming, I just missed logging in on time because my brain didn't do my timezone translation.

Yeah. I've put the release date on my calendar now so maybe I'll pick him up then. I suppose it's fine if I don't manage to get him. I have most of the big X-Villains already. Just irksome.
