ML Mini Comic wave

Ultimate Iron Man really is great. I feel like he could get better range of motion from his torso joints...I might have to crack him open and do some shaving.

I just wish UIM was a little taller. Maybe not the 7 footer he is in the comics, but taller than Ultimate Cap at the very least. I also wish the thrusters on the back of his boots had holes to accommodate blast/exhaust effects.

It's a phenomenal figure - just wish it was slightly taller as well. That armor is supposed to be pretty huge.

Yeah, a major flaw in an otherwise great figure is the surprising lack of ability of the wrist-mounted repulsors and the thrusters to take an effect piece. The sculpt is right there in both places, it just needed depth.

I didn't go for the whole wave, but I did pick up Ultimate Iron Man and Miles.

As many have said, Ultimate Iron Man is a very cool figure. No real complaints here.

Miles is good but held back by a few things. We don't have all the extra hands, and the hips are weird. Both of those things can be ignored, but it means that he's fantastic in certain poses and is lacking in others.

There's always been something about the Ultimate Iron Man armor that's appealed to me - weird duck bill head and all.

I hit my LCS after work yesterday for the first time in a bit to get some comics. Then ran errands including Taget - grabbed Professor X on vintage card and they had all but Daken in this series. What a great day! I grabbed Iron Man, ROM and Miles. Love all three and I really like the packaging and mini comic. It's a cool gimmick even though I love BAFs.

Looking forward to seeing what other covers they celebrate since they really made some great figures here. Never read Ultimates, but I love comic Iron Men and this guy might take the cake. Miles is so good looking to me with the finish and posing range. Excelsior!

Yeah... hit up a Target I dont regularly visit today and it had the entire wave except Rom. Obviously an old school comic fan had been there... though the classic Banshee was still there so, who knows

I'm guessing Rom is online-only for Target, but that could be wrong. I do know that he's listed on their web site, but he shows as not being in any local stores. Usually that means it's an online-only member of the wave.

I ordered Rom from Target's web site on Monday and received him today. Great figure, definitely.

I think ROM is selling also just because he's a cool toy. I sure didn't know who he was before this release, and I just bought it for a fun action figure.

I was hoping to find him in store and buy him when all rationale went out the window and impulse took over, solely because I know nothing about the character. I don't know if I can bring myself to order him online.

The hunt just gets tiresome at Target. Their m.o. of ordering solid cases just bites. Sure enough, I went in this morning to find several of Miles and Iron Man only. So less stressful to get them online. I've had the 2 I really wanted (ROM and Banshee) for about 2 weeks now. Target can sit on a tack.
