I get that, but getting all 6 saves me $18 if they go through. Outside of possible Astonishing Beast, I don't think any will be hard to purchase once they are released, so it's worth the gamble imo.
 
Well, maybe if they actually made enough for everyone who wanted them, and actually distributed them to stores, people wouldn't be freaking out so much to preorder them online... *glares at every fucking company making action figures now*
 
I bought a full case on EE. I was planning to cherry pick my favorites but I didn’t want to risk that they would sell out before I cleared checkout so I grabbed the case and I’ll just sell off the figs I don’t want when they arrive

$27.99 plus tax for my Chicago suburb comes out to $30.23 each.

Holy cow. I remember struggling to raise $8 each if I found 2 figures at the same time.
And I find myself in the same boat. Can't seem to resell anything at any reasonable price.

As a seller I know how difficult that can be. You have to navigate that tricky threshold of “what is a price that is so cheap that people might assume it’s a bootleg” vs “well this guy is clearly a scalper”. I try to sell my products at fair market value whenever possible. I’m not looking for profit when I sell I’m looking for piece of mind.

I'm absolutely never looking for profit. I just don't want to take a bath.

But even offering everything at those prices where sometimes I'm basically paying the "buyer" to take it off my hands, no one is ever interested.

I have minor OCD & major arthritis, so my stuff is always handled delicately, and I've never lived with children, pets (well, when I was a child, but anything leftover from childhood isn't currently for sale lol), or smokers.

*shrug*
 
You can always take your chances and wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday etc, then there's the Amazon... Day or whatever.
 
I decided to take a "wait & see" approach with MCU figures, then never saw any of the Marvels wave in the wild, never saw Red Hulk in the wild, and all the SamCaps dried up before that "wave" went on clearance, and am not only not seeing any F4 in the wild, but they're sold out everywhere, and my local collectible shop, whose prices are ALWAYS under MSRP, has been having to price them HIGHER, due to demand/scarcity.

Thank Christ BBTS got another shipment in of F4, but how long will THAT last? I definitely can't get the whole wave all at once.

(I eventually managed Monica & Kamala at MSRP from Amazon, but still don't have Carol, and damn social media tempted me into wanting to finish Awesome Hulk, so now I need Cap & Noh-Varr - been checking Ollie's, but nothing past Rintrah/Attuma...)
 
Grabbed Widow and DD from BBTS. I thought yesterday's reveals generated a lot of buzz. They must've, seeing as BBTS crashed. I've never seen that before.
