Mini Comic Wave 2

Sweatpants and sweatshirts are usually loose and bulky. Those things aren't skintight like spandex costumes. Plus, it matches the artwork.

Now, do I use my old Target Widow to make a custom Velvet figure? It's one of my favorite indie comic titles. I'm basically some hair paint away.

Our ongoing Coipel Thor bro-mance just got deeper today.

Solid looking figures across the board today.

I'll just be picking up Beast and Daredevil, though.

I can be talked into Fury and Punisher, but I'm holding out for a hopefully single carded release of Punisher.

Grey Widow looks nice. I wish she had a new accessory to justify buying her.

Gladiator looks like a nice update and Deathbird looks great, just not essential for me to pick up.

Ice Man looks fine, I like the new effects, hate the old slide they reused, but he's a skip for sure.

Feral and Rachel are from X-Teams that I'm just not building so they get skipped.

Silver Surfer is my only real disappointment. I was hoping to see him on a new body. Hell, he comes with less than the Walgreens version did.

Rachel looks great. Can't wait.
I'm not really attached to Feral as a character but, even with the apparently smooth appendages, that figure looks amazing.
And I know we already have a few, but damn, that Silver Surfer is sexy.

I'm apathetic about Grey Widow, Friskies Beast, and Princess Bride DD though they all look sharp.

So, 3 out of six!

Princess Bride Daredevil! Dread Pirate Roberts Daredevil is a great way to think about this figure. I think you just convinced me to get it.

The first mini-comic wave was amazing for me. This second wave is looking very cool now in the reveals

Black Widow in grey is exactly the version of her that I wanted! She looks stunning. I particularly want her for this team up with Modular Armor Iron Man against Titanium Man 1, and Crimson Dynamo Mark V is playing sides. (Can Hasbro finally make Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo in Marvel Legends, please!!).

Rachel Phoenix— I’m not that familiar with this character, but wow the figure looks really impressive. The glamor posed shots look very nice. I bought the rest of Excalibur already since I tend to buy them all anyway. Nice team builder. I like that mask she is wearing on the cover of the mini-comic, and that would have been a cool accessory.

Feral—Not really familiar with her either. I know Wolfsbane more. But again those posed photos are great. That dynamic stance pose makes the figure shine and sells the figure.

Silver Surfer—agree with others who have pointed out that this is the best Surfer figure so far and yet quite disappointing. Surfer needs more height and mass like the Vulcan body. Or even more articulation to get into deep crouches. Pinless is an upgrade though.

Daredevil—Again, not at all familiar with this reference. But the comparison to Princess Bride is very amusing and the figure itself looks nice. Agree with Norm that the build is powerful, like this is Cap or US Agent in disguise. The powerful build actually makes me like the figure more.

Astonishing Beast is a must-have. I liked that comic, and this is of course a tremendous upgrade over the last Astonishing Beast figure. Hasbro is really making these Astonishing remakes stellar. Hope that Hasbro makes Astonishing Colossus.

Feral is reusing Tigre’s limbs. There are tufts of fur above the knees.
Good catch. Glad she's got a little bit. It's a little crazy to me that they didn't use the Wolfsbane limbs, which have much more pronounced hair.

Silver Surfer and Feral are up on Amazon at the increased price, $27.99

Getting harder to justify these. I imagine I'll be cutting back even more.

I'll be grabbing Feral to complete my X-Force team (though I still only have that old Domino...), and Daredevil so I can possibly use his head on my Netflix DD custom that I'll never finish.
