Mini Comic Wave 2

Astonishing won't be complete for me until we have Armor and Ryan Ting said they'd talked about her but didn't know how to make her showcasing her power.
-Alright, hear me out...
Obviously, Hisako needs to be a fully-articulated figure. But also no one wants her Armor to just be a static shell, either. So, you put swivel points in at all the necessary joints: neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, hip, knee, ankle. The torso can be split in two, with a clip for her waist on the inside of the back to hold her up inside. Then, you'd plug in the head & limbs. It wouldn't be completely articulated, and you'd definitely have to pre-pose her before putting her inside, but you'd still have her fully articulated, and the shell wouldn't just be a solid shell...

You know what, I'd LOVE the next Made To Order figure to be Armor. Hasbro shows off the 2-pack of Colossus and Kitty so everyone knows the core team will be complete to push backers for her.

I'm just not sure how they'd *do* Armor unless it was her with the form-fitting smaller armor plates. The engineering of a figure inside a figure, unless the external one is just a static hollow piece or absolutely gigantic, seems real tricky. The swivel joint idea isn't implausible, but also I feel like a lot of folks wouldn't go for it because it will be so limited in articulation.

Simple. Opening cockpit or flip up armored head that you can put her in and articulate the armor accordingly.

I'm sure folks won't go for them removing hands from packaging, but we have to deal with it all the same.

Based on that image, it doesn't look that difficult, just bigger and more expensive than a normal figure. If she's contained to the torso, then the arms and legs can have standard articulation. If the figure inside lines up say a boot cut with the waist of the armor, then there's a spot for a waist twist. It's not going to articulate as well as a lot of figures, but probably as well as something like Gamerverse Juggernaut.

Yep. Make it bigger hence me saying it's great for the made-to-order concept. It doesn't need crazy articulation, just functional arms and legs, and with the design above, a waist swivel is easy. Of course Hisako would be fully articulated.
