My war paint Conan came in today. Only did a quick check for QC so I haven’t messed with it much. Upon opening I was hit by one of the strongest paint smells, on par with a Nottaa release if you’re familiar. I guess its fitting for the war paint version

It looks a lot nicer in person I have to say. I’ll have to compare but it feels smaller in size and a bit lighter even compared to the previous Conan releases.

Nice! Youtube reviews seem to put him at about the same size as the other Mezco Conans - interesting that he seems lighter. Glad to hear he looks better in person. I was worried after that initial pic hit, but subsequent reviews have been painting a positive picture for me and now I'm really looking forward to it again (lol).

Yeah I think it was just a perception thing due to the smaller head. When I put him next to King Conan he’s roughly the same size if not a little taller. For the weight, I’m probably just used to King Conan’s chainmail.

I posed him a bit more when I had a break today and I’m really happy with him. One thing that doesn’t translate to photos/video is the variation and depth of color on his body. The plastic is a nice base tone and there’s shading underneath the white paint. I’m not usually a fan of fake fur on figures but the scabbard is especially cool - it’s really neat to see a prop from the film in such a small size.

Definitely look forward to it! I think this is one of those that is much better in hand. It should have more accessories and butterfly shoulders for the price but Mezco gonna Mezco. I’m rethinking my decision to not pre order the pit fighter version.

I will never let go of the parade of stupidity trying to deal with a defective figure, and them just basically telling me to fuck off for a year .. or two.. or whatever.
