Another thread we didn't carry over until now. Anyone here that collects these? I've got the Turtles but didn't pick up Casey and as I recall some of us weren't too crazy about the way Shredder was looking when they first showed him off.
 
Where did you get that custom Donnie head? That bothers me about him too, that all the rest have serious alternate heads and Donnie is all goofy looking.
 
I'm dealing with with issues from Meta in regards to FB/IG freezing my accounts, but my PayPal receipt says it was by Kevin Thueringer.
They were limited runs at the time, but it might be worth looking him up to see if he has offered them again.
He had heads for the other brothers, and comic heads as well, if memory serves.
 
I couldn't get in on the darker Turtles, but joined the waitlist. I chose to pass on the light Turtles, lol.

I chose to pass on Casey because why get him if I didn't have the Turtles? Then I heard of a mass waitlist fulfillment, so I waitlisted Casey.

Turtles came in, then a few months later, so did Casey.

Videos in lieu of photos, because I don't have any shelf pics at the moment, and am not at home, lol.

I'm looking forward to Shredder. *shrug*

Praying he doesn't go up when I don't have the money because they preauth (if you're gonna do that, just take the fucking money then, Jesus Christ)... :cautious:

They still have a wait-list option for Casey. Is it even remotely possible at this point that I might get one? Are they producing more and filling from the waitlist?
 
Hahahah this is too funny. I went to see about getting on the Casey wait-list and noticed I had login info saved. I didn't remember ever making an account on Mezco. I logged in and it showed an order. I definitely never ordered from Mezco directly. Clicked the order and it was where I had previously gotten on the wait-list for Casey back in February. I don't even remember doing it but good news is I'm 4 months further ahead in line than I would be 😂

These seemed to have done well so I wouldn't be surprised if there's another Casey run. I think they're making more of the turtles too.
 
I’m on the wait list for Casey, I did consciously opt for that. Not sure how long ago. That’s a good sign that they’re possibly coming through!
 
Hoping we get a Shredder release soon. I'm looking forward to checking him out in the case at SDCC. Their original display of him looked pretty awkward, but the second time looked better. I have no idea when NECA is going to re-release their maroon Shredder without battle damage, or if they'll make a new one, but this guy could hang on the Mirage shelf just as well.

I'm going to do a limited run of custom head sculpts for the original MEZCO bros at the end of the year, once I finish a pretty big deadline. I really love the set, but I wish they had a couple non angry-eyed faces. I'm going to probably do a round eyed smiling, closed eye meditating, and a goofy face - maybe sticking tongue out, or a dumbfounded look. I'll post them on here when I'm done. I'll sell unpainted casts at cost if anyone wants em.
 
They won’t be as screen accurate as the NECA ones, but they’ll cost $100 each so it all evens out in the end.

(That’s just jokes… I’m interested in these, might not get themself, but Mezco tends to skew smaller right? So these should be movie Turts who can hang out with like MCU figures or ride on Joe Vechiles… that’s interesting, if for nothing else than to see the photos other people can take with them)
 
I’ve wanted these at 1:12 scale, but not necessarily from the One:12 line. I don’t wanna pay $400+ for a set.
