McFarlane Toys General Video Games (Fallout, Diablo, etc.)

Oh man, he's doing game-related stuff? That's really twisting the knife. I've waited a long time for decent game-related figures but I'm not willing to pay $60 for either of these.

The NCR ranger isn't bad, if it was priced in the low- to mid-$20 range. The T-60 looks kinda cheap. It doesn't look like armor at all. Something with the plastic looks off or it's a bad photo.

The McFarlane Elite Fallout and Doom drops are currently up at Walmart for $10 less — $49.99.

Considering I'm just a sucker for Fallout stuff and its Walmart and I can return with ease, I ordered both the Fallout releases. If NCR holds up, I'll likely keep him at that price. The Power Armor will have to impress me.

The NCR's armor should really have dirt on it too, it's pristine and the coat/pants are messy

Ghoul before and after figures revealed at SDCC. Todd's gonna charge 120-plus for the two pack, isn't he. Oof. I love Walton but that's a kick in the teeth.

My T-60 came in store today. Haven't opened yet.

I would love to take a paint pass at it, because the sculpt is great. More single joint BS like Doomguy, but I just need him to look chunky holding the big gun. Would love to throw an unmasked head and call it my FO76 lady.

If Lucy ever goes on super-clearance (like, $25, $30), I'll have a decision to make. That figure leaves a lot to be desired, but if I get her, I can check Fallout off my list.

T-60 is a cool figure. Chunky. Really nice weathering and washes. Not really into the blue steel, but in 76 you could customize, so I don't find it to be a misstep.

Sculpt is amazing. The details in the plating, hoses, rubber, the backpack and valve. Really cool.

Nice assortment of hands (two gun, one pointer, one holder, fists). Great weapon selection. The weapons might be the standout in terms of sculpt and paint detailing.

Articulation is what you'd expect for a bulky armor guy. It's very pliable. Not soft, but pliable. The arms and shoulders and head pop off very easily. They're not loose. Could be useful for customizers.

Is it worth this new price tier? I don't know how these things cost out anymore. Far as I know every single thing is unique and new here. I have a bit of wallet regret for the Canadian ask, but it cuts a nice presence on the shelf and makes me happy, so I'll take it.

Lucy is 6, and this is 3, so stands to reason it's the Ranger and Persona before Lucy. These seem to be dropping very quickly, so hopefully it's all before a Christmas.

I'm late to the party on Fallout but maybe this thread but dont' see a thread for general Mcfarlane Game-related or Elites figures so will mention I got the Lilith and it'spricey but really nice, partial reuse from Wonder Woman for the base body but you'd never know as it's so bespoke in its detailing and additional features. I actually don't even play Diablo, I just wanted her to go with my Coser Toys Abyss Knight which is the unlicensed Darksiders Death figure, but based on Lilith I'd be interested in this Fallout armoured figure if I get into the games or show at some point.
