McFarlane Toys General Video Games (Fallout, Diablo, etc.)

If you have ideas on how to make Jackie, let me know.

Someone told me that the factory makes the cuts as they see fit. I don't know if it works like that, but it might explain it. I don't disagree. But at the same time, only game in town.
Oh no, no...they sculpt a statue, and then cut in the articulation. They've done that for years. That's why if you look at really early Walking Dead figures, especially the TV stuff, their sculpts and articulation don't jive.

How is that different than how Hasbro or Mattel do it? Is it just outdated? I'm coming from this only really remembering two ups and old ToyFare articles.

Do they actually design piece by piece now? How does Mafex or Inart do it?

Got the call for the FO4 set. Given this doesn't even come with guns, this is the set I finally feel like a Merry Melodies Looney Tune sucker jackass, but I'm doing it.

Further adventures of Me and Fallout and Todd.

89 moose bucks. I get 15% off. I knew the figure was going to just be LucySteph again. I knew the armor was just a repaint of the one I already bought. That's fine.

Just based on the odds of getting any other Fallout merch, unless some third party would like to do that (which I have no faith in because where's my Mad Max stuff too?), I'm happy with these. I know what to expect with Todd and in fact I'm pleasantly surprised with things like the faceplate engineering and the swappable hair. I do not think all the figures are good. I saw Ghoul and I'm confident he'll be there the next time I go if I want to make an impulse dopamine hit. That hard shell coat really bothers me knowing how Todd executes.

Anyway. This two pack.

I like that they mixed it up where Lucy has yellow but this character has metallic gold paint. Nice touch. It does not transfer to the armor, which is just yellow and blue. But it looks cool.

She also has the leather armor and her Pipboy is brown. I have no doubt that we will see this repurposed with Lucy, hopefully with her hair tied, so at least I can get a win there.

My issue is accessories. I think that's just always going to be my issue with Todd. It seems he either goes way overboard or just doesn't.

I appreciate the original vault armor came with a bunch of weapons. You need him in order to give any of these other characters Fallout themed weapons. That's dirty.

You get no alternate hands. No alternate face plates. No weapons period.

This is all reuse and you couldn't toss in hands or another face? Or the pistols you've already reused?

I think for fans the set is nice bundle, but in a gross way where the only comparison is that individually to get this figure the cheapest option is Steph, but she does come with face plates and hands and guns. And then the unpainted Elite armor from 76, which is loaded with Fallout lore weapons, and was like 20 bucks less than this duo.

I think this line beats the hell out of MK, though. Which sucks for teen me.
