Todd never even finished Suicide Squad. I never expect him to do a full movie line. How he did SS and no Ratcatcher II or Rick Flagg...
 
Low blow jacking up the price on that Supes because of Krypto. "Collectors Edition" means what again, exactly?
Seems we're constantly being hosed on prices from all directions.

I thought it was interesting that the "Theatrical Edition" had not only Krypto but a cloth wired cape, while the "standard" release has a plastic cape. With the current tariff situation, I wonder if we're going to start seeing more plastic capes in the "standard" boxes while the wired stuff is reserved for more expensive options.

Or this is a one-off, and I'm way off base lol

These figures were planned out before tariffs. Sadly I think it's just a matter of us getting less and less value for our dollar.........and THEN getting a 250% tariff tacked on to boot. I'm seeing this across the industry, not just McFarlane. Not an exciting time to be a figure collector, IMO.

Fair point. I guess I was looking at that "standard" figure and thinking it was just so lazily tossed together, it seemed like it was done just to offer a cheaper option (and perhaps it was, just not for the reason I was thinking). I almost went for the bundle on Todd's store, until I realized the standard figure was exactly the same as the "Theatrical", just minus the accessories and a worse cape. Odd release.
 
I am wondering if wired capes are going away too, which would be sad. But the "standard" release and the upcoming Eradicator kind of point to that.

What's the word on Lex Luthor? He didn't go up today did he? At this point he and Supes are the only two I'm interested in. (I'm betting he gets a green battle suit in the movie in which case a toy is inevitable.......if Todd still has time.)

I believe Lex and Mr. Terrific both go up for preorder in June, they just showed them off today for Superman Day.

That Eradicator...what a miss. On the original release, I swapped out the head for the Action 1000 Superman head and then took the yellow glasses from a My Hero Academia figure and it looks pretty good. At least, it looks like Superman wearing yellow shades lol And I gave him a custom cape. This new one doesn't look great, I think I'll pass on it.
 
I didn't realize that Mr. Terrific & Guy Gardner's outfits were so similar until I saw the Super Power figures for the Superman movie. I was watching the new BTS video and Hawkgirl's outfit is the same. They all seem to have the same logo on their chest which might be a J & L. I guess they have similar uniforms but match the style of their looks.
 
Saw news that Cyborg Superman, Jade and Sentient Hologram Eradicator are being found in stores now. Cyborg Supes and Jade are red platinum and the hologram Eradicator may be platinum.. They suggest Jade may have a 'Green Lantern' platinum variant,

I think Jade is one I will want to track down if I can. The regular JSA version. I always liked her and her brother. Heres hoping they get to Obsidian as well.
 
I’ve seen on Instagram and Reddit that people are finding Jade at Wal Mart in various random locations including the East Coast. I’ve not seen any sightings of Cyborg Superman. Doesn’t mean no one has found him, I’ve just not seen it reported anywhere.
