McFarlane DC Multiverse

I don't have any of the McFarlane Snyderverse figures, but I did enjoy Margot Robbie's Harley, so I ended up backing the campaign for the level 2 package. I don't need to Letoker, so the "deluxe" Harley works fine for me.

She can go with the rest of the live action Bat collection I'll set up once the Returns wave arrives from BBTS (whenever Batman & Catwoman come in).
 
Got Cheetah today from Gamestop. She's a STRANGE figure. She's fine, I guess, but it's funny - her face sculpt is so good that she actually looks BIZARRE dressed up in a cat suit, especially becase the figure is such a flat yellow. Like she looks particularly unhinged. Her arm articulation is a bit weird, and the upper torso to abs to diaper transition is really bad. The buckling around her knees (because of the boots reuse) is a bit messy, and her feet are HUGE, like she's wearing a pair of those bear claw slippers.

I mean I can work with her in the collection, it's okay, but just a very oddly designed figure overall.

Nice figure, could use a better right hand but the soft goods trench coat and classic Batman #321 Walt Simonson look make this a winner. The last thing I need is another Joker, but this one couldn't be passed up.

I posted a pic of.my new Batman movie set up on FB last night. It got 80 comments and about half of them were, "Where is Joker?" Some of them seemed to imply that I purposefully left him out :D Please, Todd, get that 89 Joker done if for no other reason than to end the confusion.

Good just what I need, and excuse to buy more Jokers, I'm way above the 3 mentioned in the comics. Will probably buy at least 3 of the Nicholson's to placate my nerd heart.

There are any number of ways to repaint Guardian. And I’m good with ALL of them. Including Mal. Although I do think we’d get Bumblebee first. Or at least together.

Manhattan Guardian might be a bit more of a problem as he would need additional tooling.

Ahh, there's the fine print (assuming it's real)- Jack Nicholson inspired Joker. Honestly, as long as it looks decently enough like him, I'm cool with it. A lot of the McFarlane figures look similar to the actor, but not precise. Like, I know he probably got Ledger's likeness rights, but it's not the spitting image (though maybe this new release, whatever it is, will fix that?). Same with the Yvonne Craig Batgirl- it looks just enough like her that I know who it's supposed to be. I can see a lot of fans not really caring for a "close but no cigar" approach, but I say it's better than nothing.

Cool display, @yojoebro82! Really nice seeing them all together. Kinda makes me wish I hadn't gotten rid of my NECA street scene diorama all those years ago. If they're perfect for any figures, it's Batman.

Where can I get a Tommy gun to go with this figure?
 
So could the Bane actually be B&R Bane instead of the Nolan films? Unless it's a shirtless or bomber jacket or long sleeve black shirt from the beginning?

Could the TDK Joker have swappable face plates, soft goods removable jacket and his weapons? Or is it the nurse Joker.

Hope the 89 Joker is as close as possible likeness wise but I have a head cast ready to he painted up and I was also planning on doing a Superman Returns custom as I did a custom of the Crisis on Infinite Earth's Arrowverse Routh Superman.

Good point about Bane- hadn't really considered it. I think the listing mentioned it being from TDKR, but he also disappeared from the last few posts. Don't know if that means it wasn't real, or it's been pushed back, or what. Given that Todd released TDKR Bane with a softgoods coat as a regular figure, I don't really know what else a theatrical deluxe could include.

That's the most likely possibility for Joker, I'd say. Think I remember reading somewhere that DC doesn't want figures of Nurse Joker, supposedly something to do with respecting nurses, I think. Other than that, the only variant we haven't really gotten is the police officer Joker, but I could see them avoiding that variant too for the same reasons. So a Joker with softgoods, weapons, a couple different heads (laughing, tongue, smeared makeup, etc.) is the most likely.

Police offer Joker could also act as an army builder if people have spare heads but I totally forgot about that version of Joker.
I get that worry about nurses but it seems kinda daft in the grand scheme of things.
