McFarlane DC Multiverse

I just ordered Blackfire, Guardian & Red Tornado from Walmart. Blackfire showed up as "Out of Stock" but then I did a search & it showed up with the price.

I was thinking of getting Dark Flash & the Atom Smasher & Spectre 2 pack, but decided to pass. I have the other Dark Flash & I don't feel like spending $80 on 2 figures I already have. Maybe if they go on sale or clearance.
 
I casually surfed over to Walmart at 9:35 am EDT and preordered Red Tornado and Batgirl. This is how preorders should be, not these instant sellouts if you get busy at work and forget to be at the designated place at the designated time.

I passed on Atom Smasher and Spectre. I like my COIE Spectre much better, and I can always grab Atom Smasher off eBay if I decide I really want him.

Blackfire looks great, but I have no real attachment to the character and would just end up selling her off the next time I pared down my collection.

I just tried to do the same but he's no longer available. The only DC item that was still available was the Flash movie Batcycle and the Knightmare Superman. Everything else was already gone. I HATE this.

Yep, everything on Walmart was sold out when I loaded the page at 9:55am. Guess I should have expected them to go up an hour early and all sell out. Guardian was one of 2 figures I was in for today, huge bummer.
 
Walmart performed their finishing move and ripped my wallet out through my *ahem* while I was buying the myriad crayon-colored McFarlane ninja sets. I kept refreshing the pages for the Multiverse offerings but they seemed to have already been K.O.-ed before before the event time. Oh well, was after technicolor ninjas anyway.

Now to contact my physician about the frosty kunai sticking out of me...

Edit: According to Reddit the DC Multiverse offerings sold out 40 min before the event kickoff time, which is ya' know, always helpful.

Well, now I feel like an ass. I checked last night to see what time the DC Multiverse figures were going up and saw it was 9:00 am EDT. So when I strolled in there after 9:30 and placed my order, I thought “Oh, good…plenty for everyone!” I didn’t realize that many of you were expecting them to go up at 10:00 AM EDT, but I think that is when the last couple of days’ items went up for preorder.
 
I grabbed the Green Lantern cover recreation from MTS, listed as in-stock as Tommy said. I thought about getting the Spectre/Atom Smasher 2pk, but figured it'll go on sale at some point. Or it won't...but either way, I'm not paying $80 for it lol
 
Looks like McFarlane Store purchases via Walmart are no longer returnable in store - anyone else seeing that? Or can find the policy?

Says you can return online through Jan 31st holiday policy, you just can't return it in store. Likely because it's an online only item posting to begin with.
