Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

Had to grab cat food last night and popped into a local Walmart. They had just done some kind of reset in the action figure aisle and there was the Power Sword, little Skeletor and Scareglow.

I guess the reset is the holdup with many stores?

I found ScareBro in the wild.

Why is he naked

More importantly, did Scareglow eat the Popeyes chicken, and if so, how'd he like it?

WARNING! WARNING!!

This is Jay from GeekDadLife doing a review of the movie (he saw a screener at CinemaCon in Vegas). So don't watch unless you want spoilers.

A screener in fucking APRIL for a movie that comes out in June? Fuck you, Jay. Fuck you to the tenth generation of your line.

I don't think they screened the whole film for them, just the CinemaCon footage.

EDIT: Yeah, he specifically calls them "clips".

I wondered if prime thought so cuz he said "review of the movie", but I am glad to know you are so in touch with your own emotions as to still allow them space when you did not think so.

I watched it. He reviews like... four..? scenes. Pretty sure it was four. I don't think there's really too much in there that's actually a spoiler for anyone that understands how like... movies work. But I understand everyone is really sensitive about that, hence the spoiler warning. It's more of a review of what he's seen of the movie, rather than a movie review. For whatever that distinction is worth.

Yeah my mistake I was about half way through the video when I posted the link. Sounds like the screener had only scenes from the first half of the movie (outside of the transformation scene).

Finally got my 200X He-Man in, and immediately tried kitbashing the head and harness onto KG. They work really, REALLY well. Harness is a smidge loose, but looks good overall. Ball socket is much larger on the Origins 200X, but that's nothing blue tack can't fix, and the head itself is nearly the same exact size as KG's. Boots are about the right length, but them and the loincloth are quite skinny compared to KG's normal ones, so I'll only attempt that kitbash once I can get a second fodder KG.

Really wish all the gauntlets on these origins figures were swappable overlay pieces.
