Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

I'm just going to stay away from the movie figures altogether unless there are new unique characters (like Goatman or somebody like that). I haven't decided about my MOTU going forward but I was a Masterverse only and not an Origins guy - so I'm thinking that I'm likely taking 2026 off from MOTU. That might change if they start getting clearanced out somewhere down the line.
 
I'm really impressed by the paint apps on the loincloth/boots/bracers for He-Man, it actually looks like leather. I just pulled out my box of MOTU figures, which is a mix of MOTUC and Masterverse and yeah....I think I might go in on these Chronicles figures. They look great so far.
 
If it's real, it seems some things leaked overseas and it mentioned some other core kids line toys that seem to be coming such as Man At Arms, Mekaneck (which I think was shown or leaked here as well), Ram Man, Trap Jaw, a board game and some other stuff.

I wish i could find it again. it was on Facebook and when I went back to read the leaked characters Facebook refreshed and it was gone. It was a foreign site reporting He-Man news. It looked like German/Deutsch.

But it had some Masterverse figures and Core kids line figures leaked that were found.
 
Watching that pixel dan video there’s some stuff I’m pretty amped for and some stuff that’s pretty meh.

Pros:
- the articulation scheme is just about everything I want. It looks similar to like a Jada street fighter scheme, though like the earlier version of it. Generally I would take this over a marvel legends scheme which I think I’ve never said that about Mattel ever lol. Only critique there is that they should have left more rook for the butterfly joints, but overall it’s solid.
- not that much reuse on the first wave.
- battle cat looks like loves really nice too

Cons:
- skeletor cape looks to be plastic
- battle cat armor looks poorly executed
- good luck getting he man to look good riding battle car…

But overall I think it’s a nice upgrade to Masterverse tbh.
