Agreed. I love Morena Baccarin. I continue to hope we get a figure of her from the Deadpool movies as well. I've been crushing on her since the Firefly days. Loved her in the V reboot and on Gotham too. Easily one of my favorite actresses. Looking forward to seeing that Greenland sequel almost entirely just because she's in it.

Yeah, I have a huge crush on Morena. Her and Eva Green are two of my favorite actresses of all time.
 
That He-man looks great! Those import double elbows and knees, hmmm nice. And the paint on the leather armor is really good too, I love washes. The butterfly shoulders do seem to be the Mcfarlane style, rather than hasbro style. Which both honestly suck in comparison to mafex or sh figuarts style butterflies, but oh well. Baby steps!

The worst thing about MOTU lines is that you've GOT to start with He-Man, but Mattel usually doesn't really nail down a new body/articulation/scale until several waves in. Which means every MOTU line starts out with a less than ideal He-Man figure. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they increase the range on those shoulders at some point in the future, provided the line survives long enough.
I guess the 'good' news is that it's He-Man, so if they make that body better somehow, we'll probably see him again with the update.

But I agree, especially after PD's video, that it looks like the butterflies are mostly there for appearances only.
 
I'm gonna really try to stay out of the movie stuff for this property. We'll see what Chronicles offers up outside of that, but if Masterverse is done with, I think Mondo will be my only MotU until something else comes along.
 
That Mekaneck looks pretty cool. I do think I'm going to actively avoid and hand-slap myself away from the 5.5" kids' stuff. JUST for the sake of not adding two more full MOTU collections to keep up with. I've gotta start being more serious about drawing lines in my collecting and I think that's a good spot to tell myself 'no.'
