Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

I've heard that we can expect a non-movie Battle Cat at some point. I don't know if we'll see it this week/end, but I've heard its in the cards. Movie BC naturally was going to happen. But they gotta use that tooling, so of course we get a Panthor, but they had to do a Panthor that isn't movie inspired since he's not in the movie. And naturally, if you have a non-movie Panthor, you gotta have a non-movie BC. That's the Mattel logic, at least, as I understand what was told to me.

I really love the BC sculpt they did for Chronicles. It's so nice-looking and moves so well. I will definitely get Panthor and I will definitely get a more vintage-style BC, if that's the version they go with (I imagine it would have to be, right? - all I heard was 'non-movie').

I'm wondering if that Mer-Man actually is just a merfolk dude, or if maybe he has armor that we're not seeing for some reason. Need Mattel to start talking. Also.. need to know when I can have all these things. Today? Can I have them today?

I was not at all going to get him, nope and well there I ordered him. Sigh.
 
Sat in the queue for nine minutes and he was sold out at checkout. I'm actually okay with it - 50 bucks toward other stuff. But I hope that is a good sign for the health of the line that he sold out fast.
 
Annnnd out of stock again. I don't think I want him enough to keep trying, but Mattel Creations giving Hasbro Pulse a run for its money for customer experience.

Didn't appear to have a limit listed, fwiw. I'm giving up. It's a fun figure but not worth the goofiness of trying to get him.
 
75 CAD is too much for a figure I'd be getting just because it's funny. From the sounds of it, I'm glad I'm passing on trying to get him.
