D list and niche characters are my bread and butter. What motivates me to keep going in this often times frustrating pursuit. If I got Hercules: Unbound with basic articulation for 13 bucks I’d take it. I’d also take it for $29.00 with enhanced articulation. Gimme Starfire II, Claw, Space Ranger et al. Fill in the blank at this point. Just something different.

I’d just like for the DC license to advance past Batman, Superman, and the Justice League.
 
Just agreeing on loving those D-list characters. I swear my DC holy grail of a character would be a fully articulated Lennox from New 52 Wonder Woman. Just an absolute nobody of a character but I'd buy him in a New York Minute.

My MattyCollector Ghostbusters haven't aged well, the faces of those except Winston have turned a darker color anywhere there's indentations. Basically like a natural blackwash that came over them. I've kept them in a cardboard box with so I dunno why they'd look like they've been working on an oil rig, but while the jumpsuits look/feel fine, the proton packs and accessories are gummy/sticky.

Hopefully my Hasbro ones that replaced these will age better.

Hypno-Hustler won't move as many units as Spider-Man Variant 274, but that's baked into the business model. You cook up a few great sculpts like Hasbro's Vulcan body, re-use them regularly, and use that to pay for unique base bodies like Constantine. Marvel Legends has been doing that for more than a decade now. Mattel should be able to follow the same pattern.

As far as price goes, I expect these to be around $30 by the time the line begins. That's the going rate for collector-style figures, even relatively cheap domestic brands.

I have to agree. For characters that are getting one shot in a line, I want the best version of that character achievable under the conditions of the line. I don't know how many D-listers we're getting, but even characters who are slightly above that, like perennial team members or recurring B-list villains, are mostly going to get one shot and it's probably not going to be in the basic line unless the timing aligns with a show or movie appearance.
 
I just want a company that goes all-in with the classic LOSH.

I second this! While I love my Mattel LOSH 12-pack and the handful of additional DC Direct Legionnaires that I own, my biggest wants from a DC line are some key civilian characters (Ma&Pa Kent, Amanda Waller, Martha Wayne, Iris West-Allen, etc) and some tertiary LOSH characters that have yet to be made by any company (specifically Phantom Girl, Lightning Lass, Shrinking Violet, Duplicate Girl, Element Lad, Shadow Lass, etc). I use a heroclix Shrinking Violet but would like better than that.

A couple of other key characters that I'd really like to get are Jesse Chambers and Weather Wizard.

If we can't get highly articulated versions of these characters then these are the types that I'd happily take in the the basic $12-$13 line as well, especially the civilian types.

After 25+ years of collecting DCD/DCC, Mattel and McFarlane 6"-7" figures, I have most of what I want but am still looking for opportunities to fill in some gaps.

So let’s see…37 figures at $34.99 each. $1294.63 plus tax and shipping. I also imagine Blok, Colossal Boy, and Bouncing Boy might be deluxe.

Not impossible. Not likely. Three 12 packs at $450.00/each? And FWIW, this is (my) Legion and I’m in. But reality has to figure in somewhere.

Dont Forget we really (at least) need a full and proper Fatal Five as well as a good number of Legion of Super Villains.
