Mattel DC Figures

Personally, comic-wise I want a good Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, a few figures based on the Death of Superman, Knightfall, Absolute, maybe Hush or Gotham by Gaslight, maybe a few members of the Bat Family, and a great Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing. But I'll definitely be cherry picking, IF the figures are any good for the price.

I'm definitely excited at the possibilities, but cautious of Mattel and their cheap ways. So far I like what I'm hearing, what with the three different price lines, but the sculpt needs to be awesome in all three. I want to be surprised, but I'm kinda expecting something kinda cheap and not good-looking, like most Marvel Legends.
 
There are times when I wish it were that simple for me. Just build the JSA and be done. But I don’t think I can. Maybe an omnibus view of the JSA to include SSoV, 7S (Morrison), Freedom Fighters, All Star Squadron, Infinity Inc., the Blackhawks, the Marvels, and misc. related characters. Plus related villains, families, and legacies. And by then, any fiscal restraint is in the wind.

I'd be fine with and excited for that that as well, I'd like to see Batman handled like how Marvel Legends handles Spider-Man. Waves dedicated just to him but building out his mythos hardcore, great figures for each major Batman costume anchoring each wave, with a half and half split between Bat-Characters + other supporting characters (Civilians like Harold, Alfred, Oracle, and other Gotham heroes like Creeper and Hitman), and rogues gallery members. Not just guys like Joker and Two-Face, though. I need guys like KG Beast and Biis.

Todd's green and yellow Geo-Force is my favorite of his figures so far, even if the belt details are off. Always wanted that guy in that look, and was bummed that Figures Toy Company cancelled their Mego-like version of him. (They managed to make a Halo, though.)

Honestly, Metamorpho is ironically the one lowest on my list. I still like the figure they made of him way back when, and DC Direct's can't be topped when it comes to Fradon likeness. I'm also pretty happy with the DCUC and DCD Black Lightning offerings.

Classic Katana, Classic Halo, and Classic Looker are my top choices, followed by a DCUC scaled Geo-Force.

And it'll never happen, but don't threaten me with a Sapphire Stagg. Sapp, Simon, Java, and Element Girl would make me tear up!

yeah, i love that DCUC Metamorpho even if mine's joints are super loose these days.

I couldn't get into Todd's offerings cause the scale was too big for my tastes
