Just buy cool shit that makes you happy.
Within budget and reason.
I understand that's contradictory.

I was missing new DC at one point and picked up most of the darkest night DCUC figures all the colored lanterns I had passed on originally... but now I'm right back to thinking about dumping them in anticipation of new Mattel gear.I’m also considering backfilling DCUC figures that I shouldn’t have gotten rid of in the first place
Man, that sounds like permission to relapse to me
That is very understandable. The thought has crossed my mind too. I don't have to think about the purchase at 12.99 plus tax vs $27.99 plus tax. The struggle is real. Finally found core Batman and Robin today, and…damn.
This may be the DC line I collect, and cherry pick the collector line. Sacrilege, I know…but these are - capital Q - Quality, especially for the price.
Likewise. I tend not to pose my figures in crazy ways on the shelf, so I don't personally need a metric ton of poseability. Having nicely-sculpted figures basically just standing there is more than enough for me. And if I can get the characters I want for $12.99, then so much the better. This may be the DC line I collect, and cherry pick the collector line. Pretty much where I’m at. I’ll certainly take the Legion if made, but my bigger concern is the Fourth World. Well actually anything Kirby. My understanding is that the excellent New Gods title is coming back eventually. There’s also a new LSH series in the works written by Josh Williamson that should be a banger. My hope is that at least 75% of the collector line will be comic accurate. But honestly it'll depend on the characters. If the collector's line is the only place I can get Legion or Fourth World characters, then I'll buy those. But if I can get basically everyone else I want cheaper...? Yeah, my wallet approves.
Preach. Kirby's DC characters are my above-all-else priority in proper Kirby design goodness. The DCUC Fourth World/Kirby characters are the only figures from that line that have been on permanent display. They've never left the shelves in which they're displayed, except for dusting.Pretty much where I’m at. I’ll certainly take the Legion if made, but my bigger concern is the Fourth World. With you on that although vintage Kirby from the 70’s would be my preference.Preach. Kirby's DC characters are my above-all-else priority in proper Kirby design goodness. That being said, I don't mind other Fourth World designs, so I'll take them in whatever way I can, repeatedly.
Oh, this is a given. Kirby is always the priority. I was just noting how oddly enough newer/different Fourth World character designs don't get me bent out of shape for some reason. LOLWith you on that although vintage Kirby from the 70’s would be my preference.
