I agree. Just an example, but Superman ‘78 will hit its 50th anniversary in 2028, and Batman ‘89 it’s 40th in ‘29, both under the Mattel licensing period. Why wouldn’t they try to make a few bucks there?Why? They did it right up to the end of their last time with the license, and McFarlane has consistently done it for his entire tenure. I don't see any good reason why that would change now. Some of those older movie versions are incredibly popular still. McFarlane has managed to sell like.. 3 or 4 Batmans based on the Nolan movies alone.
