Masters of the Universe X Thundercats

Mattel loves to paint parts on prototypes and then leave them bare plastic on the finished product. They're probably the last company I trust with product photos (Barbie is even worse about how products look in promo images vs real life).
Very true. The Lion-O from wave one had terrible face paint apps but the release figure looks nearly perfect (and animation accurate).

So there is a slim chance of a change occurring for Panthro, but every single photo from the early promo shots, to product shots (both professional and at conventions) show a long armed abomination.

Amazon adjusted the ship/release dates on my Lion-O and Cheetara to Unknown, but Battle Cat is still July 3rd. Let the fun begin.

My Lion-O and Cheetara went to unknown delivery date to August. They'll eventually arrive...someday...

Tigra, Panthro, and He-Man are up on BBTS. I don't know if I'll go deep in on this line but I at least want the core Thundercats so I'll grab Tigra and Panthro for sure.

Is this the first time we've seen He-Man? I don't remember seeing him until now.
I don't know if they've done much marketing of him, but I know I saw him in the (very cool) stop motion ad that was done of the figures.

That third wave makes no sense. How about some Eternian characters with Thunderian flair? MAA, Teela, Beast Man, Merman?

The early theory from this rumour is that Panthro and Lion-O will probably be done up in different armour pieces, and possibly alternate looks for their Thunderian base looks. Hopefully it isn't something as stupid as glowing eyes and what not.

Lion-O might come with a more classic look for his claw shield, which would be nice since the one with the wave 1 version is not doing it for me currently. Maybe a kid Lion-O? Evil red outfit Lion-O?

If Panthor-Man turns out as cool as Battle Cat Man I will be happy.

I keep forgetting TMNT isn't involved here, I was about to say they should just do mutant versions of Lion-O and Panthro for second looks. I'm willing to see what they come up with and maybe buy them again if they're different/cool enough, but it does feel like this could've waited another two or three waves.

Yeah, WAY too early for repeat characters with so rich a lineup to choose from. But Panthor-Man is a day on preorder, I won't even blink before I get him.

I think TMNT moved too fast with doing second versions of the turtles in that line, but they also covered a LOOOOOT of ground with MOTU and TMNT characters while also doubling up on the boys (and the second He-Man was de-mutated so he made sense). I just think we could've gotten Teela, WilyKit and WilyKat, Duncan, maybe some of Mum-Ra's flunkies in here before repeating.

I don't really collect the ToG or MOTU/T-Cats crossover lines, but I definitely pre ordered that MOTU/T-Cats He-Man. he looks like he'd be great to use to make a cool King Grayskull.

He looks cool just as He-Man too but throw a red cape on him and give him the Power Sword and I think he'd look cool as King Grayskull.

Yeah I am surprised Man-At-Arms isn't listed because it is basically his armour on wave two Pantro. I'm hoping this line does well enough to go deep like the TOG line. Also I would like to see some of the Mutants show up as well.
