Masters of the Universe: Origins

I'm jealous of all these concept sketch figures. I'm this close to ordering them. Wish they'd do stuff like that in Masterverse.
I kept telling myself "Don't do the concept figures". But damn it, I have the Horde 2 Pack and I pre ordered Sy-Klone. That Horde 2 pack........it's really good. They are so much fun to use as just random, unique Horde characters. And that's what I plan to use Sy-Klone for. Just some random Eternian Hero.

ToyHabits is always posting articles about figures being teased in package art, or possible future concept figures, and I always think they look fun. Plus, that trooper 4-pack they put up the other day with all the factions is really tempting me too...

for example

I used to get a lot more excited about the teases on the package art when we were getting more than two over-priced, single-drop figure releases per year. Honestly, collecting this line has become so fucking stupid and infuriating and I will CONTINUE to say that every figure right now that isn't a vintage redo can be shoved directly up the asses of everyone at Mattel, because every one of them is a middle finger to collectors and represents how unserious they are about keeping their word.

To those of you who pre order your Origins figures from Amazon, do you indeed get them? Does Amazon tend to ship them out, or do they get cancelled or pushed back a lot? And do you get them in a fairly timely manner compared to other companies such as BBTS, EE, etc?

That would be cool. I'd gladly buy everyone in their 200X looks.

I know we are talking 200X here, and I and many others often talk about wanting to for the love of god finish the vintage collection. But I'd like to see some New Adventures stuff in Origins. At the very least He-Man and Skeletor.

I know they did NA He-Man in that 4 Pack. But a nice single release with the legit translucent green blade on the Power Sword would be nice.

Hopefully if they ever do they rerelease a single carded NA He-Man too because I didn't buy that 4 pack. It was so expensive.

I'd prefer to get 200X figures in Masterverse scale. I'm kinda over the puffy body look right now.

I'd buy 200x versions of some of the characters - mostly just my favorites. Besides that, I'm not really interested. I would like Origins versions of New Adventures characters quite a lot. I fucking hate that multi-pack they made and even if it were a dollar I wouldn't get it because vac-metal or real metal weapons on action figures are fucking dumb as shit and can fuck off. But a proper NA He-Man in Origins would be great.

That being said - finish the vintage figures, Mattel. You told us you would. So do it and stop pissing around.

I got the new Wave in from BBTS today. The Wave with Frosta, Buzz Off, and Invisible Skeletor. The entire Wave is great, but I really like this invisible Skeletor. I almost didn't order him, but I'm so happy I did.

This figure and its accessories are so silly, but so cool looking. I really love this figure.

Now don't go making me regret not ordering Skeletor. I'm about to hit ship on my POL with Buzz Off and Frosta in it so it'll be here in time for my birthday next Monday.

I saw Faker at Target so I guess that means I missed Leech and Catra which is unfortunate.

So I didn't realize Hurricane Hordak was a Club Grayskull figure. I might have ordered it to go along with Vultak to combine shipping, but not if it's gonna cost me an extra $10 for membership. I really hope they don't put top wanted figures like Two-Bad behind that paywall.

It's only Club exclusive for the first day, I believe. Unless it sells out by tomorrow.

It will be interesting to see what happens. The recent trend seems to point to a declining interest in Origins MC exclusives because they either don't sell out, or take a long time (relatively) to sell out. My belief is that Hordak doesn't sell out during the Club Grayskull period, and probably doesn't sell out even after for at least a couple days.

Hopefully I am wrong so it shows some sparks of life left in the MC Origins exclusives releases, but I am not certain.

I'm hoping when the line dies and some people sell their stuff, I'll be able to find a decently priced Wundar and He-Ro, because I never did get those guys. Frankly, Mattel has managed to viciously execute my interest in this line by making these figures so fucking stupid to get.
