Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

In the most shocking twist of 2026, I actually got my Vintage Collection Mer-Man in the mail today. Wal-Mart shipped a pre ordered figure, and I got it. Un-be-lievable.

This Mer-Man is amazing though. It looks great. I think he is my favorite of the VC figures.
 
My Mer-man still isn’t even “preparing” though it was supposed to arrive today. The “about to ship, check your address” message is still there.

Update:
Nothing has changed. Except now the delivery date says June 11. Still has the “about to ship” message and everything. Weird.
 
I've completely lost track of all the Walmart preorders that canceled, particularly in the excitement of the new line, but I would, if they actually LET ME BUY HER, pick up a yellow Evil Lyn to round out my Masterverse collection.
 
Beast Man was listed as in stock at Mattel Creations so I bit, along with 200X Roboto. Order was placed Sunday and they showed up today.

Beast Man is a big gap I wanted filled in this sub line. He’s as essential a henchman to Skeletor as Teela and Man At Arms are to Eternos and He-Man. Glad to get him so soon after Merman.

His colors pop like crazy, the brightest orange. The head sculpt is the closest so far to the vintage sculpt, but the paints add black eyebrows I don’t remember being there. The shin armor is also a new element that wasn’t vintage. His right hand is sculpted with the metal knuckle claws on the back, separate from the right bracer of the same color. His whip is fully a rubbery plastic. It was curled in the package so it needs some time to relax. Not much else to mention here. He’s great.

Beast Man looks damn near perfect. And again, all the Vintage Collection figures look so good together. Evil Lyn will look great amongst them.
 
SO frustrated with WalMart right now. I got a message saying they were trying to process my Vintage Collection Beast Man but my card info was bad - which is fair, I updated my cards a month ago. So I went to edit the order. I thought I had entered tje new card number, but apparently I didn't choose the right option for that, so it entered the expiration date and security code for the new card on the old card number. When I realized that after saving, I tried to edit the card number after adding the new card to their system but it says 'Only one change allowed per order" I tried customer service and they told me my only option is to cancel the order and try again. F you Wal Mart.

Also, I'm sorry to hear that PantherCult. Wal-Mart sucks beyond belief. One of the biggest companies in the world and they still handle their online options and customer service worse than any new upstart business.

The fact it is so hard to handle credit card and address updates on Wal-Mart's website is astonishing.

I've been ordering two in case of QC issues lately. But then I wind up keeping the second. So far I've got Skeletor, Teela, Merman, and Beast Man carded. I know that if this becomes a finite kind of subset of Masterverse, I'm gonna wanna backtrack on Zodac, Faker, and Stratos. I ain't got room for this shit!
 
I can't wait for that Evil-Lyn. Wun-Dar too honestly.

I got Beast-Man in today from Mattel Creations. Excellent Vintage Collection figure. Besides the figure, I love the art on the back of the Vintage Collection Beast-Man box. That picture of Skeletor where his purple hood isn't on and you just see the top of his skull. I want a figure of that.
