I'm digging the Vintage line as well. I know I was griping not long ago about wanting an updated "COOL" He-Man, but I really do like the Vintage one. Skeletor, even more so.

They just exist in their own little world because they don't really fit in that well with my New Eternia display. Did Mattel just trick me into collecting a whole new line? 😂 😭 Whatever, bring 'em on, just keep making that NE hotness and we're gold!
 
That's clearly what this is becoming, a new sub line. We've got Revelations/Revolutions, New Eternia, Movie-verse, now Vintage. It's getting brutal. That said, I got to open Zodac, and I think he's ok. Some weirdness in the proportions. I think his chest isn't as puffy as He and Skel, but his arms almost seem longer and his neck shorter. I like his "Dr. Strange" effect, but probably won't use it, since I'd like to keep these looking strictly vintage, which I though was the point of these releases.
 
When is Blade supposed to come out? I haven't been able to find an actual release date or even pre-order window anywhere.

To my knowledge they haven't given any date. They have only told us it is a fan channel figure. There is a MOTU item on the Calendar for Mattel Creations on April 28th, after Hurricane Hordak. Some speculate that could be Blade. But if that would turn out to be Blade, it would be odd.

Because if he isn't available anywhere but Mattel Creations, he isn't Fan Channel like they said. And if he is indeed Fan Channel, I don't think they have ever made a date on their event calendar to put something up that is also going up on BBTS, EE, etc.

Blade hasnt been officially announced yet. We only know he exists because he was apparently accidentally mailed to someone... the same thing that happened before with Origins Vultak. So there is no official word that Blade is even in the line - though we know he is - and thus no release date or pre-order date.
 
I don't have many connections/friends inside Mattel, at least the Masters side. I wonder what the likelihood of them doing figures from the new upcoming movie will be. No way they don't...right?
 
I think in both Masterverse and Origins they will put characters in their MOTU Movie looks, just like Justice said.

But I also really believe that there will just be a MOTU Motion Picture toyline where the figures can be at a $12 or so price point with potential vehicles and playsets.

Masterverse figures are $25-$27 dollars now, and Origins almost $20. They won't want to rely on that price point for kids to be buying.

They will want a cheaper, kid friendly price point.
