Marvel Legends Maximum Series

While I didn't get Maximum Thor, mainly because I just don't have a spot in my display for him, I really am enjoying seeing the pictures of this figure. He really does seem to be the first offering of this subline that actually seems "maximum" to me. If Hasbro winds up doing a classic Thor with the same amount of care, I'll happily plunk down the cash for him.
No place for this Max Thor, but you'd have a place for a DIFFERENT Max Thor?
You, sir, are a hypocrite and a Philistine. I curse you down to the eighth generation of your line.

Also, you're missing out. Just ask @Sgt. Stinky - he just got his Max Thor and he LOVES it.

Not yet.....but I will!!!!! Damn peer pressure.........

I've definitely been a plastic over soft goods for a lot of my collecting days, but a lot of companies have really improved in this area so I'm coming around. There's still some shitty ones out there, but a well-tailored cape or coat can look great on the right character. In a perfect world, we'd get both with releases, but sometimes it doesn't add anything. Mephisto's plastic cape looks kind of shitty to me, though his soft goods option also isn't great, but at least it lets him sit.

Oh, don't get me wrong...I'm MIGHTY (Thor) tempted! Maybe I'll stick him on my cosmic shelf, since that skews more "modern". My Avengers display (and about 95% of my ML display) is Bronze Age.

Dammit, @Damien I think you just managed to get me to talk myself into this figure!

Come on, people; let @Sgt. Stinky collect on his own stinky terms! Sheesh!

Sorry about them, sir. And please allow me to say, thank you for your service!

*pinches nose and salutes*
Thank you for support from this harassment! (and just for full disclosure to be safe, Sgt. Stinky is a gamer nickname given to me by some friends 30 years ago. No actual service-military or other wise should be implied however food service was very much involved at the time). I truly though do salute those on this forum who did actually served in our armed forces. Thank you for your service!

Well I got mine today, and have had about 3 hours messing around with him. Im completely satisfied, he's awesome. The hair looks better in person, the swaps are easy but not loose, the cape is phenomenal. Hell I even get why they made Mjolnir bigger, because the old one looks TINY in his hand.

But in the end he just FEELS right. Nothing fights you when playing, nothing feels off or in the way, it just flows. The little Throg is well painted and fun.

I like the Spider-Man more just because I'm a Spider-Man nerd, but for me this is the best Maximum so far. Hulk is fine but didn't give me a head that I loved, Deadpool is ok but also just didn't FEEL as good as this Thor does. Spidey is let down by the terrible unmasked head and mixed bag accessories; Thor isn't let down by anything.

Great figure. Very high change this will end up as figure of the year
