Marvel Legends Maximum Series

Thor will be my first Maximum figure. He's definitely the first Maximum figure that I'd happily fork over the cash for. As I've said before, I would've bought a classic, light-blue Spider-Man, but I wouldn't have been thrilled about paying $50 for it. Same for Deadpool in a '90s-centric costume.

I don't think they're usurping my Gamerverse Venom anytime soon, but that's a me thing.

Yeah. I feel like Loki is the only one missing off that list, though I'd probably strike one of the symbiotes and one of the goblins. I figure if you do villains, you'd do one big hitter for each of the teams and then 2-3 Spider-man must-haves before double-dipping.

Gotta be honest, at this point I'm not buying another Mystique, even if they do the hair correctly this time to match the retro card back. The Walgreens one was good enough for me, and the slightly different tone skin and pinless joints just made it all that much more "good enough" for me. The Hellfire Jean head was just another reuse that they'd likely never reuse again, so they gave it to us there.

Only reason I didn’t put him on was that I was unsure what look I would suggest. I can think of at least three separate and distinct Loki versions we need that wouldn’t be covered by one Maximum release.

I definitely think it would be either/or with the goblins: a Max release and then use that to do the other goblin somewhat less fancy. As for Venom and Carnage, I actually bet they do them both. They are going to do Venom, we all know it.

I can't think of many accessories to justify the price point, either. Not ones that he needs, anyway. I guess they could do a throne, but I don't need another giant chair.
 
I'm definitely waiting on a sale for this Thor. It's not sold out on Amazon, BBTS, EE, GameStop Nerdzoic, cmdstore, Toy Snowman or Hasbro Pulse. This is Odin all over again. I guess Jesse Falcon didn't learn anything when Odin had to be put on sale.

I totally forgot to put Green Goblin on my list. Yeah he should be a lock for Maximum or Deluxe.
