One of my favorite things is when they are going over the figure and they make a statement about articulation or paint or whatever, and their mouth is faster than their hands so a second later it turns out they are incorrect, and there is some big quality issue or something even breaks in their hand .
It's a casualty of them trying to keep it honest and authentic and they don't do any dry runs or even research the product before they get into it. It's all about unboxing and just getting it raw. And for my own logic, that makes no sense if you're going to actually assess and educate the public, which is what a review is to me.
That's my ND thing. If you're going to put yourself out there and speak on a thing you better know about it. And so many don't.
See Damien's point about commercials and just being up front.
I also fell off a lot of the video content because I did have a habit of running a review or two and going over it with the figure as I unboxed it myself. My thinking was maybe I would learn something that I did not know.
But instead so many of these reviewers are like " also, the figure can't hit this pose or this figure doesn't have this feature" and I'm sitting there hitting that pose on my own or verifying that it does have that feature and more.
