Marvel Legends Maximum Series

That's actually my one not-fiddly complaint; giving us that stupid Frog instead of a spinning hammer effect. One of the two things I actually need for my THOR figure.
Spinny hammer is on my shortlist of accessories I keep browsing Ebay for. You'd think that would be an essential pack in for anything claiming to be a Maximum Thor.

I love artist-specific figures.
I don't know if I'd recognize an artistic-specific figure style (unless it were something really extreme like a weird Sienkiewicz Moon Knight), but I do know that Parker head looks like an effing idiot. If that's what artist-specific gets me, I'll pass.

So far that feels kind of like the thing for Maximum figures, though. Even the ones I was even kind of interested in lost me when I saw, like, two nearly-identical Spider-Man masks or the absolute weirdest choices for Hulk heads. I may've missed the announcement, but if this line *is* dedicated to artistic-specific sculpts, I've a feeling I wouldn't like those artists' work.

It doesn't help that what's considered Maximum accessories are massive web balls and a random horn.

I keep saying I don't think they can top my MAFEX Magneto, but I'd like to see them try. If it were as good as that new Thor, there's a small chance.

I would very much like a new Doom.
3/4 solid releases.
Hulk becomes more bizarre with each passing day.

First off, Throg is sick.

The trouble with the spinning hammer effect is that it's impractically heavy. Even a hollow one would weigh more than the figure could likely hold.

I don't know... I've had multiple spinning weapon effects from NECA and even the one for Donnie's bo-staff wasn't THAT heavy, even though it was definitely he heaviest.

And yeah, you're exactly the kind of person I would expect to like Throg. Maybe we'll stumble across him in the wilderness and you can add him to the growing D&D menagerie.

If the second Smart Hulk head is viable and it turns that figure into essentially the Marvel Superheroes Hulk... I will look on it a tad more favorably. It will, however, stand as probably the worst Maximum release for a long while and a big "what not to do" lesson for Hasbro.
