You really should play those games man. It’s honestly some of the best Spider-Man content out there right now and that’s saying a lot considering the precarious nature of the licensing rights right now and how milktoast and banal the stories are with the comics and the movies can’t seem to find their footing. It’s been entirely up to the games to provide good storytelling with these characters in the best way possible and they are doing a hell of a job. The last game even revitalized Venom’s brand before Tom Hardy had to go and make the Symbiote version of Hangover 3

Yeah both of those games were fantastic, so I second that. I don't play games too often because I don't have a lot of patience for them but that one captivated me. Just swinging around the city was so fluid and natural feeling that I could just do that for hours.
 
I've played the first one and enjoyed it, but I don't own a PS5 and don't plan to. I'm not much for video games in general so it wouldn't be a good investment for me. Only things I've played in the last 15 years were Arkham, Spidey, and God of War games.
 
I really just like the way the Lizard looks, I don't really care to take the time to play video games these days (I haven't even played the Miles Morales game or the latest God of War, even though I own them). Plenty of demands on my time as it is! And I definitely don't own a computer nice enough for gaming. But I'll shut up, I didn't come here to poo-poo the games, just to whine about how this thing they will never make is a thing I wish they would. ;)
 
Psylocke and Thanos go up for preorder Friday at 9.

In general I have an easier time with Target exclusives but their POs are for shit. And they just learned with their New Hope retro set that if they cancel everyone's order it will drive up the hype. Hoping for a low amount of shenanigans.
 
I didn't always mind Target exclusives when they put sufficient quantity online, but some have become very difficult to get either online or at my local stores. The ones that come to mind are Carol Danvers Warbird, Retro Card Carnage and the MCU Tracksuit Mafia figures. Others like Outback Professor X they over-order on and it makes no sense. Psylocke/Thanos is probably the only 2-pack that I'm 100% in on so I'll be upset if I miss it. I'll be there ready and waiting before 8AM (local time).

I turned 50 last month and haven't personally played any video game since my sons (now 25 and 21) were very small and I played with them. Those were the days of the original Nintendo Wii and Sony PS3, so a very long time ago now. However, I will now occasionally go and watch the full cinematic for some games on YouTube just to watch the story. I think that I last did that for the Midnight Suns game and whatever the last Batman Arkham game was. I still tend to like the stories even I have no interest in actual gameplay at this point in my life.
 
They've also still never fixed Savage Professor X's online listing - he's still stuck as not available.

A 6am preorder is such a dirty play on customers. But I have a random $15 off $100 coupon this week only and would love to use it on this. Will Target let me? Will I wake up in time? Actually, when this shit happens, I sleep horribly even though I have an alarm set. Ugh.
 
I’ll be going to bed early both tonight and tomorrow. Maybe I’ll listen to a cozy little podcast to help relax my brain a good 2 hours before I hit the sack. Also some chamomile tea won’t hurt. This sounds silly but I’ve been plagued by insomnia and anxiety since I was six years old so I’m not taking any chances

The FF series had me hoping they were holding the prices. Not paying $60 for these. Esp. when I basically just want Wolvie, who's new body will absolutely be reused in the future.

Why so late? Shouldn't these be the summer release program specials? Guessing tariffs f'd up the scheduling for at least the next six months.

I know November means October and possibly September, but see above. All of my Hasbro July preorders haven't moved up at all yet and I'm wondering if they'll end up pushing back.

Also - $60? Please, Hasbro, show me where these figures are $30 each. I know, I know. Doesn't make it good.
