I think Shuma is going to be 70. That's my guess
It may be my own blind faith, but I recall how I eventually got both MODOK and Xanathar for just at or over the price of a single figure, and I have a feeling that Shuma will end up there, as cool as he is. I don't normally wait for discount except for stuff I can live without, but Shuma's on that border line.

I feel like that Cap is the one I want for the Infinity Gauntlet display I've been working towards, so I'll probably pick that one up and sell of the Venom to someone who needs him. I'm on the fence about Juggy. I like the one I've got, but that one dos look rad. The only set that I think I might grab in it's entirety is Wolverine/Samurai, basically because I don't have a yellow and blue wolvie or the samurai yet and they're both X folks.

Jeeeeeeeeez. I hate that I want every.single.item. they showed today. I have all of it. But not that way. Those all look so good. Those X-Men figures all look perfect. I don't have Shuma obviously, but I want that too. I want it all.

I do hate that 2 items are Target and Wal-Mart exclusives though. That's scary.

Still. Really cool reveals today.

I can talk myself into that Cap.. Plenty of precedence for a scale-less Cap in the comic art and he looks really nicely done..

Wolverine looks awesome.. I gave an involuntary out loud "oh wow" when they put him in the deep squat pose.. but do I NEED this release?

Psylocke is just stunning. All those straps sculpted.. The heads are gorgeous.. just beautiful.

I just wish these three figures weren't in hostage 2 packs... I just do not need Blue Venom, Silver Samurai, or Thanos..

Now War Machine and Omega Red.. this set is just disappointing. They got the legs on War Machine wrong if they were looking to match the Bengus art, but I bet he'll look great in person if the MvC War Machine they put on the Modular body to match the in-game sprite is anything to go by... Omega Red didn't get a substantial enough upgrade at all. Definitely let down here.

Juggernaut looks really awesome.. So much heft and mass and I love the texture on the torso sculpt..

Shuma-Gorath is a triumph. Just incredible to see this character in this line done so well. Congrats to Hasbro on this one!

I think Ota possible the production number on Shuma will be lower than MODOK, so may not go to discount.

Thinking about it, War Machine feels like kind of an odd choice here considering he was the one character they already did fairly recently who was specifically in his MvC look with that modular Iron Man repaint that’s still available for retail.

Granted that one was pixel accurate, but not art accurate. But this one also isn’t art accurate because of his blue legs.

Looking at the MvC2 roster, there wasn’t really a ton of other choices that could’ve fit. A lot of other characters would’ve been too big or have had recent releases. But Iceman, Magneto, or even Dr Doom wouldn’t have been awful choices.

I just want this line to do well so the next big deluxe is the Sentinel. Do we NEED more sentinels... maybe not, but also, yes.

was going to get Shuma too but was not expecting him to be so huge. I wonder if they designed him based on the MoM film but the first wave didn't do the expected numbers so they shelved him until now.

Shuma was rumored to be an SDCC exclusive figure in 2023 when MoM came out, but a few months before then Marvel lost the Conan license. Most of us assumed that they just shelved the figure until they could figure out what to do.

I guess just renaming it worked, so maybe all they had to do was print new packaging with that dumb "Gargantos" name on it.

Blasphemy, I know, but I don't care about the game and will be happy to have a giant Shuma to use as a comic character.
