Marvel Legends Gamerverse

I recently upgraded my Spider-Man 2 venom to have some blue shading on it via metallic blues and some heavy inks to make them look like lowlights. And again, more like a natural adaptation like I was discussing earlier. Also added some green slime thanks to the saliva attachment and I think it looks much better

I mean I'm a broken record on this. Comics are a symbol system; not a direct translation of any tangible (even imagined) reality. Wonder Woman's hair isnt blue and when carnage hits Venom in that picture above little lines don't shoot out from the impact. I know we all know this but its good to talk about adaptation from 2D to 3D and not take some things so literal.
 
I cannot explain why, but the blue Venom just works for me. Maybe it's because I'm not stressed out about having a black one cos we got those already, but I find this one really eye catching for some reason.

I think everyone understands that, but it doesn’t change the fact that a lot of us spent our time looking at a thing that’s colored blue in the source and that’s what we end up being used to seeing. Even if the info on the back of the trading card reads black.

I agree with both of you. This is always one of my favorite toy discussions. I even like the "what color is Storm's '90s costume" debate.

I always felt like people are arguing about the wrong context when it came to storm’s Jim Lee design. Instead of debating the colors of her outfit I feel like we are ignoring the fact that her outfit is meant to invoke the colors of a storm cloud. So if she’s flying towards you it’s literally the artist showing you that a raging storm is on the horizon. So instead of getting into the weeds of “is it black, white or silver?” maybe we should’ve asking , “What’s the first adjective that comes to mind when we think of a raging storm? For me that’s “Awesome, terrifying, dangerous or lethal”

Fortunately I preordered him at multiple places, but yikes. That’s one hell of a mental lapse for someone who’s been waiting for Mr. -Gorath since before the game even came out.

I know, right! I can't get passed there stupid "Press and Hold" test either. I signed out to try to sign back in and try again. But it wants the "Press and Hold" test now just to verify I'm not a bot when I'm signing in. So, I can't even sign in now lol.
