Marvel Legends Gamerverse

That Psylocke looks perfect! Such a beautiful figure. I think Thanos looks really great too. I love his colors for his attire. I'm so glad this set got moved up on Target.com for its release date. I'm really excited to get this set.

Also, I love that pic of Psylocke with Archangel AustinPowers. They look great together. I'm still waiting on my X-Force Archangel from Pulse. Hopefully it ships soon.
 
It's crazy how much I am anticipating a rehash of a figure that I didn't even previously think was bad. Just goes to show you what Hasbro can do when they really want to (or have the budget).
 
Jeez, Psylocke looks incredible, could be a top ten figure this year. Looks almost like an import. Maybe better.
 
Wow, that Thanos is sick! Just kidding, I'm here for Psylocke too. But in all honesty, I do like the colorway on Thanos. Still not sure whether I'll keep him.

Maybe someone caught this and mentioned it already, but it's looking like the legs, waist and arms are the same sculpt as the BAF but upscaled. That's disappointing especially at this price. We're still getting the ball hips, huh?
 
I was wondering why it had ball hips, but that makes sense. I don't mind that much, but it does feel like the proportions would be better with a brand new sculpt.

It still looks way better than the previous one. I passed on that one because it wasn't any better than the Marvel Select version.

Edit: on second look, I'd say those are new arms. At the very least they have no pins, but they seem relatively thicker as well.

No, it wasn't. I didn't keep the one from Colossus because I liked the BAF well enough for its time. I liked the helmet texture (which probably puts me in the minority), I took the belt off and put some work into him dry brushing and giving him a dull coat. But I don't know, I might get the new one, he's got his pluses, not a priority but we'll see.

I don’t think anything is reused from the BAF Juggernaut. The aforementioned shared parts look to be upscaled. They may be the same sculpt, but look bigger on the MvC one. I wish the shoulders were sunken into the torso more.
 
Was thinking the same thing about the shoulders. Bandai recently did a thing with their Vegeta figure where the shoulders could pop out slightly for more articulation or be pushed in for more neutral poses and it looks pretty good. He just can’t have his arms at his side when they’re pushed in.
 
There doesn't seem to be any parts reuse, just a lot of similarity in the sculpt. The knees and thighs are wider on the new figure. His boots have toe articulation and no seems. The boot cuff is smoother. The veins on his arms are slightly different. Pretty minor differences, but it seems to be all new sculpting.
 
I almost feel like I don't have to buy this Juggernaut, because I have the BAF and the Colossus 2 pack Juggernauts and they are great. However, X-Men is my favorite part of Marvel and Marvel Legends, and I don't think I can stand not having a bigger, different, updated version of a character from the X-men Universe.

So, what I'm saying is, I'm definitely buying this Gamerverse Juggernaut.
 
I don't know, I think I'm sticking with "upscaled reuse". For the legs at the very least. Look at the weird cuts along the muscles of the upper legs where it connects to the ball joint. Looks pretty similar. I don't know why they would do ball joints on an all new figure.
