The Loki in Doomsday is an alternate Loki though. I'm talking about original 616 Loki who was killed by Thanos. And I haven't seen everything Dennings has done, but I'm confident she could pull it off very well. Sylvie was a lady Loki, sure, but I'm talking about the version that was part of the Cabal during Dark Reign. I'm not suggesting they do a Lady Loki villain with Dennings as the lead either, but a supporting character in Thor 5.

I suppose I could tolerate that. 🤪 Whoever they pick for the role after Tom is gonna have some real heavy lifting to do, though. Not only with the characters, but the fanbase as well- ladies love Loki (both straight and sapphic!), so whether they do another male in the role or switch over to Lady Loki, they're gonna have to impress the ladies and the lesbians, and that ain't no small feat! We gays are very devoted to our Kings and Queens!

Question is, though- would Lady Loki and Valkyrie then get together? You know they'd be shipped together.

As for Monica, I have no doubt we'll see her again soon, and it does seem like she'll play a pretty vital role in things. I definitely want to see more from Carol and Kamala too, though- Kamala especially. She's such a fun ray of light in what can be an otherwise dour universe at times. It's the reason I'm looking forward to the Young Avengers (or whatever they'll call it)- that fun, youthful energy.

For the record, I assumed the switch would be temporary like in the comics, until he gets his body back. Which I'm actually not even sure how that happened since I was only reading Dark Avengers and New Avengers for the most part during Dark Reign. But in my mind, Lady Loki would only be in Thor 5 and Hiddleston would be back from, likely, the credit scene on.

I hadn't thought of that but if they don't get together, Loki should at least be trying to draw her away from Carol.

Okay. I know this is teetering back to the forbidden "everyone gets a project" era that supposedly ended, but now I want a Valkyrie movie with Carol and Lady Loki.

Hard agree. As someone who enjoyed Marvels very much, she was the best part of it for me. I can see why people wouldn't like her but I think she is such a wonderful character and also can't wait to see her team movie.

I wouldn't be against it, per se. She's become a nice little through-line for a lot of the projects. Heck, a large chunk of the What If? episodes featured her pretty heavily. Only thing that keeps me a little wary is I assume it would mean even less likelihood of returning to the Sharon Carter/Power Broker storyline any time soon (if ever, at this point, unless it's somehow worked into Armor Wars, but that feels like a pretty stuffed movie as-is). Both Carters could definitely use more development, but I'm more happy with Peggy's appearances as of now.
 
I'm always ready for more Hayley 😍 Her character is also one of my favorites in the MCU. I'm always down for more of anyone from Cap's corner.

Finally saw Thunderbolts on Sunday. My wife's new favorite Marvel movie (supplanting Eternals).

I agree with some of the commentary already made. I'm interesred to see if there is an extended cut released when a blu-ray is announced. (yes I'm old and still buy physical media... books, comic books, CD's and Blu-Ray)

I loved the convesation at the end about Sam Wilson securing the trademark for The Avengers and them branding as Avengerz with a Z. That stuff was fun.
 
I saw that being raised and it seemed like they were saying definitely live action but animated kiiiiiinda makes more sense
