The Irishman
Ah, I misunderstood, thank you.

You're just trying to make sure referring to people as dicks pops up in ever thread, yeah? Consistency matters.I'm just coming up with comebacks for myself. Coming on my own back.
I disagree with the character choice. Ben Grimm shouldn't be embarrassed to say, "It's clobberin' time." His whole character is wearing his heart on his sleeve. He's a little lame, a little dumb, and extremely big-hearted. He's not an ironic hipster.Yeah, they’re not giving that away in the trailer. Would they drag it out like they did Cap’s battle cry? I doubt it, but that did go over well so I guess we’ll see.
Exactly. It's not something he would shy away from, or a phrase that's focus group tested or written for a kid's show. It's authentically him.Is "It's clobberin time" the best hero catchphrase? It works perfectly for Ben Grimm's character to me.
I do hope you're wrong about this, boss. When I watch those trailers, I'm getting a very distinct Stan Lee and Jack Kirby silver age vibe. And that's what made Marvel who they are.I'm going to give the movie a fair shake, but the trailer raised my hackles. It seemed to me that the MCU wanted to revitalize itself with a return to bright, ostentatious, sentimental superhero stories. I don't need another character winking at the camera, especially Ben Grimm. I won't be surprised if this fails for the same reason the last 15 Marvel movies have failed.
His popcorn bucket will be sold online at regal, cinemark and amc store websites, if you can't get him in your theater.I'm considering buying the Galactus popcorn bucket early because it will likely be sold out in my area by the time the movie comes out. Can anyone confirm without anything more than a yes or no (please) if Galactus is ever seen that sized compared to the characters in any of the media already released? I'm really trying to avoid everything FF and if it's movie accurate that could sway me towards making this crazy purchase.

I'm hoping the film is a smashing success. But we'll know for sure soon.
Like Kim Kardashian?I'm just coming up with comebacks for myself. Coming on my own back.
There's always the -possibility- that the scene in question takes place after Ben excitedly says his catchphrase for the first time and Johnny makes fun of him and tries to get him to say it again, so Ben just won't do it. Doesn't necessarily mean he won't do it for the entire movie. In fact, the situation I described could make it pretty fun when he finally says it again and just leans in to it rather than let Johnny get under his skin. That was the vibe I got until that exchange. I hope I'm wrong, too. Marvel needs a win. I need Marvel to score a win before I stop watching their movies.
Have you tried Hickman's run?I don't give a fuck about the Fantastic Four. They bore me to tears.
