The first episode was alright. I did find myself picking up my phone a couple of times. I see the parallels between her and Tony, even while being opposites. Tony built his first suit in a cave (with a box of scraps), while she built her first suit at MIT (Wakanda Forever). Tony built his to be a one man fighting force, and she is building hers to help first responders...respond faster. Tony built his second suit with anything he could have ever needed, and she's hijacking power from the apartment to get hers to work. I did perk up at the end when she finally got her AI to work.
The second episode hooked me a bit more. The Hood has been a character I don't know a lot about, but like the dark magic aspect to him. Anthony Ramos was an interesting choice as he doesn't have a lot behind him. TF: Rise of the Beasts is the only thing I've seen him in. Manny Montana though really piqued my interest. He was the best part of the last season of Mayans (that otherwise sucked). I liked the heist scene, and all the went with it. Alden Ehrenreich was fantastic. I don't care what anyone says or thinks, his Han Solo was great. It's a shame Star Wars fans suck and we'll never see him again.
The third episode got me invested. Luckily I don't have to wait long (tonight) to see the rest. Having more Alden really made me happy, and the chemistry between him and Riri was well done and believable. I just hope she isn't creating her own villains in the end. Getting a little more (albeit minute) about The Hood and just how the power work. Ruadh mentioned last night that she could work well with all the other "Young Avengers", and I told him she doesn't seem like a team player. He reminded me Tony wasn't at first either. I assume this will be part of her character building, and we will see a different Riri at the end.
