Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

So happy to add the Fantastic Four to my MCU shelf(s).

(but I still want Evans' Johnny from D&W and Krasinski's Reed from MoM, Hasbro!)
PLEASE give us a Krasinski Reed so I can just put his head on Pedro's body & correct what I perceive as an "error"... 😅

Well, maybe, and I don't know any spoilers, but I could see a 'council of Reeds' sometime in the next two years using all the on screen versions so far, and hopefully some winking fancasting favorites ala Krasinski as well.

I had a great idea for fixing something they actually do need to fix.

Have Reed do something risky, science-wise, to help save the day for the main movie (any main movie, obviously it can't be this one lol).

Then, for the post-credits stinger, re-insert the arena shot from the Council of Kangs from the end of Quantumania, and then add in some glowy element wave sweeping over the crowd of Jonathan Majorseseseses, and once the glowy wave passes, they're all suddenly Pedro Pascal Kangs.

Boom. Kang problem solved, and now I'm not so upset that we got Pedro Reed instead of Krasinski Reed, lol.

Plus, it also makes it more comic faithful Kang, too, being descended from Reed.

That scene was horrendous. Plus, I feel like Loki S2 put Kang back in the bottle in such a way that Majors Kang never happened. And I wish they could erase Quantumania, too.

Sue looks very odd shoved far into the side of the box. Interesting choice there. I like the hair color on the physical model more than the render.

Speaking of more than the render -

Found a Thunderbolts Unboxing video posted by Marvel a few weeks ago that I guess no action figure fan actually watched. :) Shows off all four Thunderbolts figures.

Florence also says something very lovely in this video. Really like her.

Really sad they didn't even MENTION the Thunderbolts figures on this stream, or show off the figs themselves, or the packaging, or BUCKY AND GHOST.

Looking forward to the Fantastic Four, but the facesculpts really weren't all that impressive :/

I'd love to get them in their space suits also, but considering how far behind Hasbro is with, well, everything, I guess that won't happen.

So now we can't assume they won't reveal MCU stuff in these. Damn them.
Possibly a sign of the how much the bloom is off the rose for Marvel overall, maybe no media wanted to pony up for the "exclusive unveiling of merchandise".

Figures look great, but in my downsizing mode can't add more MCU figures. Probably.

Fantastic Four look great!! I can't believe i can finally add them to my MCU shelf! Im not an in package collector but I do keep the box art. These packages are awesome!! Did anyone notice Sue's hair in the package was more white than the figure they had out? I wonder which one will be the final product? The whiter hair is technically more accurate. I LOVE that were getting the Silver Surfer. These days it seems like a big deal to get someone who isn't the title character so that's great! Definitely very excited for these! I wonder if that giant Galactus is happening? Speaking of that rumored list Im hopeful that SDCC might finally answer some questions.
I could be wrong, because it all scrolled by so fast, but I wanna say Hasbro made a comment on the stream chat that the figures in the boxes are older prototypes, and the out of package ones are closer to what the final product will be.

Sort of off topic, but what do you fancy customizers use/recommend as a good way to make figures more shiny? Not that that Surfer isn't shiny enough- gonna have to see it in person first- but I've been looking at shining up some Black Series figures (namely C-3P0 and Phasma), and figure I might as well kill 2 birds with one stone if I can. Do they make a clear chrome spray paint (since Shala and Phasma could share paint, but not 3-P0)? Or am I better off just using a glossy one?

A lot of people use the Molotow Liquid Chrome paint pens. Results always look good.
