JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

I had a figure from Popmart ship and sit for 6 days with no update on the shipping other than "received by shipper" on the 29th of last month.
NOW the tracking shows this:

It makes no sense. It was IN THE STATES, then went out & CAME BACK?
Some of the tracking for international items is weird right now.
 
I could be wrong, but it looks like it didn’t hit the States until the 5th. There seems to always be a procedural part of the tracking where the destination facility gets pinged early in the process that makes it confusing. And some updates must be coming from a US source at times which can make it look like the item is already in the States.

My stupid Leatherhead has been in the US since the 14th. Still no updates since the 2nd. At least it’s not Metalhead or the Party Wagon, but I just hope it actually gets here at this point.

Where's yours stuck at? Mine's between here and Indianapolis somewhere, I've got another in limbo between here and IL, and I know my brother's got a package that disappeared in TX somewhere as well.

It left Aurora, CO on December 1st and the only update since has been the vague “In transit to next destination,” which came on the 2nd. I live in Massachusetts. And like others, it was at my regional post office on November 26 before getting sent to Colorado for some reason.
 
So, having this in hand, I will say one thing that actually bothers me about it:

He actually looks like he belongs in a different line. The rest of the series is very anime inspired, pretty cartoony. But ol' Leathy has a fairly realistic portrait, so he stands apart from everything else. Hadn't really noticed until I got him on shelf with the rest. Just a little irk.

How oddly similar. Mine left my regional facility on the 26th too (next stop should've been my local office for delivery that day), and has also not had any updates other than "in transit" since the 2nd.
 
Whatever the issue is, the shipping service LT Cave used apparently made the same error across the board. I don’t know enough about the ins and outs of package delivery to even guess how this happens.
 
I've actually received two packages from LT Cave that were sent around the same time as Leatherhead (one the same day, one a couple days later).
