JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

I'd also love a Traag, Granitor, and Rock Soldier wave. I hate that Super 7 didn't get to Traag. I want something reimagined and better detailed than Neca's cartoon version.
 
I too am waiting to see where JoyToy is allowed to go. So far, every character they’ve shown has appeared in the 87 toon so that may be where they’re being told to keep their selections. If they come out with a Hothead or something that would really be cool, or even someone like Tora from the NES game.
 
I’m not really sure what I’d want to see out of this line going forward, I’m kind of only buying them to supplement the Creative Beast Dinosaurs (they need to make a triceratops armor so Zorak can ride into battle, dammit!) and already have an extensive deep TMNT collection from NECA so I don’t need to double up in a smaller scale… but I’m really looking forward to see what they make next.

I skipped Splinter, Shredder, the Foot bots, Tokka, and the entire last wave because they didn’t fit what I was going for… but they all looked really cool. So even if it’s not something I’d personally want to own, I want to see were JoyToy goes with this because they’re knocking it out of the park and I want my 1/18 brothers to get the same love I’ve been getting 1/10 scale for years!

One thing I will say is, we need more Turtle allies if they’re gonna stick with the “smaller ninja star shaped brown bases are ‘heroes’, larger white square shaped bases are ‘villains’”

I currently have One and half hero bases and Two and a half villain bases, if you haven’t skipped anyone (or army built foot soldiers) after the next wave you’d have one and three-fourth hero bases and FOUR villain bases with one extra pieces… granted part of that is Krang coming with a whole ass bass just for himself, but still! Pretty lopsided!
 
I got my second "catch-up" box from LT Cave and have been slowly opening them. I opened Slash last night and almost screwed up thinking his bandana was swappable. I tugged for a while trying to pull it off to plug into the other head before realizing there wasn't a hole for it on the other head because that wasn't even supposed to be a bandana. Thankfully I didn't try harder..
 
I was at Agabyss toys picking up a GI Joe figure and they had Krang in stock and I just...bought it. Wasn't even on my buy list, but seeing it in person I caved so quickly. Opened it today, love it so much. Really good articulation for such a big boy.
 
Krang is awesome! I've had him for a few weeks and he just now made his way into the display Tuesday night. I kept him on the coffee table for way longer than most figures.

I never had an Android Krang as a kid and had to make do with a poor substitute from some other line so I'm a sucker for any version of him.
 
It's bad enough these things are so expensive, I wish they were easier to get. I don't know where to even try to order them other than a vague "they're on Aliexpress."

I'm basically saying "I wish BBTS would carry these" lol.
 
LTCave.com is where I get all of mine. And if BBTS carried 'em, they'd charge even more.
 
FYI if you have an issue LT Cave isn't going to help. They ghosted me on my missing accessory from my Triceraton.
