Jakks Pacific Simpsons

Seems like some Targets still have their figures on sale. Went to one and found the new wave for the first time- Grampa, Edna, and Hockey Bart, all for full price, but the next one I went to had Grampa, Troy McClure, and Hockey Bart, all of which rang up at $7. Ended up getting Grampa and Troy, and found Ralph while visiting home last week. Still such strange distribution, but could be worth it to check your local stores.

Found a lone Mr. Burns and no one else at a Target last weekend. He was full price but I did see a few days later they were marked down at another store, but just had a bunch of Sick Homers.

My nearest Target had Willie and Otto last night, full price. It is weird distribution. It beats Walmart around here, though, all they ever seem to have is Bart/Bartman.

And independent seller on Amazon had Stupid Sexy Flanders for 20 bucks and I caved. I’ve seen Hockey Bart once, but aside from that nothing since wave 3. The distribution is terrible and makes little sense, like they pick and choose who gets which wave.

Flanders is at least a solid one to spend more than retail on. His legs are slightly loose, but not enough to prevent him from holding a pose. I just wish he had a more obvious smile.

Oh, a Professor Frink figure. That's real useful.
He better come with the Sarcasm Detector, hoyvin glayvin.

And now that you mention it, a Comic Book Guy in the larger scale is definitely needed too. I have the smaller one on my desk to keep me in nerd-mode when perusing the interweb, but a larger one is certainly welcome, if only to recreate the scene with Frink.

The people demand Disco Stu.
Definitely. Did you know Disco Stu action figure sales were up 400% in the year ending 1976?

Also, he desperately needs the platform shoes with the dead fish in them.

(Also, it's fun that we've lived long enough that disco received a complete critical reappraisal and now it's a beloved retro genre whose influence is directly visible in stateside dance and pop, rather than just obliquely visible through the Euro dance and pop that occasionally lands here.)

I am appreciable to disco because in Middle school VH1 got the licence for Saturday Night Fever and just aired it ad nauseam. That Christmas my parents got me the soundtrack so I could walk around to Staying Alive.

We can tell by the way you use that walk you're a woman's man with no time to talk!
