Jada Toys Invincible

Yeah, solid. I'm interested to see how these look next to ML. Man, if these scale well with ML, and then Mattel starts cranking out DC figures that scale with ML? That's the superhero toy collection I've always wanted.

Had they been comic styled instead of cartoon styled, I'd be all in, but I can pass on these. My wallet is happy.

Conquest looks great and I'll probably bite on him. Kid Omni-Man (Oliver) looks good, but I was never a fan of the character so I could wait to see if he ever went on sale. Invincible looks great, but that is probably one of, if not, the most disliked costumes for me personally. Much rather have him in his yellow, black and blue.

Honestly I hope Jada goes all out batshit crazy on the alternate Marks. I"m talking about get on it and challenge Batman and Spiderman for the sheer number of alternate costumes. The best part is they have more than enough canon examples of alternate costumes for Mark so I would love to see him in every wave in different costumes.

As I expressed before, my concern with Jada at the moment is their speed of output. I hope that gets addressed. Was it addressed in the panel.

They look fine, I'm happy to see Jada upping their game with the joints (especially with companies like Storm Arena becoming strong competition), but Invincible is the best comic I've read to have no memorable characters. I guess I'll buy Thragg, he's pretty funny.

I do wish it were comic style. It sucks to have a new adaptation's style and designs entirely overtake merchandise. It's less offensive here since it's mostly gonna be the comic characters with blander aesthetics, but it's awful for something like Castlevania where they've made every character unrecognizable in both appearance and personality.

I am very whelmed by these reveals. I shouted out loud when I saw the cell phone pics of the projected greyscale renders shown at the panel, but was a bit deflated to see the prototypes were based on the animation style. I get why they went that route, and the articulation and scale seems perfect for what I was hoping for, but it would have been ideal to strike a more realistic aesthetic akin to ML. I will probably be all-in since these will scratch the longstanding Invincible itch I’ve had, and it seems unlikely I’ll ever get another shot at something better, but yeah. I’m whelmed when I should be ecstatic.
