I bought and then sold the Gamerverse BAF years ago expecting this eventual rerelease. I really like this body that he's on, and I think he works well for a modern Abomination. Would definitely take a more classic version but I still like the Raft / old Cap wave BAF figures too.

I still hope that they make a good classic 80s handbook style Abomination. I still think that the Toy Biz version is the best one made.

On the one hand, I am happy to order this Abomination. I really like the Gamerverse body, and this will be a significant upgrade over any prior Abomination figure. On the other hand, the line has improved since that base body came out, so it would have been nice to get a new pinless sculpt with the segmented skin, two toes, and fists. But the new head sculpts all look cool.

This Abomination is classic Hasbro; giving us a figure that’s *so close* yet still leaving us wanting, all so they can soak us again in a few years for a proper SA/BA iteration.
