Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

I guess there is no word on the Death Dealer release? My patience is dwindling. We are now in may and there seems to be no update towards the end of the last estimated shipping window.
What word do you want? He's coming Q2. Q2 begins April 1st and ends June 30th. Same as always. They basically have almost two full months to start shipping him out. And they did give updates on what was going on with him and why it took so long (fixing some of the softgoods and the mail skirt thing, as I recall).

I see. Last I heard was April/May. I suppose the soft goods fix slowed it down/extended it to quarter 2. I guess I will expect it no earlier than August as to not be impatient again, until then.

I will say at least there have been updates in the last 6 months, unlike Beyithirr.

I've been following for months and their website always said it was leaving the factory Q2. They said on a live stream a month ago they had to fix the chain mail and belt because the factory changed the way they made them from what they initially agreed upon, and they did not sit on the figure right. The owner Rob Post mentioned to me at the toy show I saw him at he rather delay figures then send out figures he feels are subpar to meet release dates.

On their live stream 4 weeks ago they said it would ship in what they hope to be 2 to 3 weeks from that time. So they are currently 1 week past that. Frankie Frazetta showed me pictures of the fixed chain mail prototype and and belt when I visited him at the museum a few days after the live stream, so progress is being made. We'll probably get an update at the next lives stream which should be this week or next.

He's coming. Don't stress if you can.

I believe Elric will come with two black blind bags I believe, IF you ordered from the Savage Crucibke website. I don't believe that's true for retailers. Not sure though.

Also, yesterday at Free Comic Book Day I helped out at my friend's shop, and there was a toy show near by so we had some cross traffic. Talking with my friends and some of the guys who went to the toy show, many of them said that Elric was showing up on their suggestions for YouTube and social media. So, who ever said this would be a big release that will garner Savage Crucible a lot more mainstream attention, I believe you were right. Many thought this was their first release. I had to turn them on to the others and hype Death Dealer.

*If you preordered from the Savage Crucible site. I don't think orders from the upcoming in-stock sale will have the extra weapon either.

That's cool that Elric is getting more awareness for the company, which makes sense as it's one of their most impressive sculpts and their first recognisable licensed character. So excited to see where Savage Crucible expands when the kickstarter fulfillment is completely finished and they have a solid library of tooled parts to work with.

Honestly, they showed that articulated dog, and the articulated polar bear. What if they start doing 6 inch scale animals? Or a line of articulated dogs?

The polar bear has been shown at shows, I personally saw it.

The dog can be seen at the end of the lives stream from 4 weeks ago, the one before the Mythology Kickstarter.

Did they actually leave that part in on the vod? I couldn't find it, and those end-of-stream teases are sometimes something they want to keep as a special reward for people who stick around for the whole stream, and they ask people not to screenshot and share them.

Gimme some fucking cats. I'd kill for a fully poseable lynx with great big fuck-off paws. A snow leopard? Swoon.

Also, what the fuck is this dumbshit universe's defect that I can get a fully-poseable 3rd-tier dino dead for 100MY but there's not a fucking fully-poseable chimpanzee to be found anywhere, much less orangutans or 1:1 marmosets. Exactly who is running this idiot shitshow? I've got some customer comments to make.
