It would be great if Hasbro renegotiated their license so that it only allows them to re-release the Kenner stuff. And do unreleased figures or even new ones in the same style. Then the movie license could go somewhere else, Mondo could get a break on their RGB stuff, and we’d just have an overall better time collecting Ghostbusters. That probably will never happen.

I cannot tell you how badly I want current NECA to do movie Ghostbusters. Accurate packs, accurate face sculpts, accurate jumpsuits...God please, if only. I mean even back in the day, the NECA GB Slimer, Gozer, Terror Dogs all looked amazing (Stay Puft is good but the face never sat right with me. Still love it.).

Neca, Mafex or Sh figuarts could potentially do some amazing movie GBs. I'm pretty surprised SHF didn't do figures when the last movie came out.

Ray dropping now should ensure we have a full squad for Halloween 2026, which was always my own personal goal. I’ll probably eat Mondo’s tariff fee to make sure of that.
