Ghostbusters General Thread

Not that anyone is aware of. I think it came out of me talking about not wanting the Haslab Ecto because it was too small a scale for the GBs I currently own.

Yep a nice little surprise to see it most likely arrive before Christmas. Now the wait until next year and the re-release/update to the original Plasma Series guys so I can have them in their first look with the Ectomobile (Ecto-1).
 
I just spent about $200 on Amazon Legends on sale, so I'm waiting a week before pre-ordering so I don't feel quite as bad as I should for this crazy hobby.
 
Pleasantly surprised by the amount of accessories included with the solo Mondo Ray.
 
I'm not totally familiar with Mr. Ghash. The design is vaguely recognizable. But seeing that photo, where the demons are crawling into his stomach? That's setting off some trypophobia vibes and I cannot look at it anymore. Glad I don't buy the big ghost sets.

I am legitimately furious about HasBLOW cancelling my Ecto-1 backer order before any had been produced, and that made me even madder when I learned I was far from the only one. They can all get legitimately fucked for that, as well as underproducing shit like the Classified SNAKE Armor, and putting unique characters & especially troop builders as store exclusives (the store executives making the deals don't know shit about these things - repaints would satisfy them & not fuck over US).

I severely dislike that NECA & McFarlane made their own scale that doesn't go with anything. That anger is hyperbolic; theatrical. The anger that two companies have already claimed to give us "1:12 scale Ghostbusters," and neither did, that is legitimate anger, no hyperbole.

And I know TFitz was being funny, so I couldn't actually get mad at him, or allow my actual anger to be directed at any of the wrong people.

And if anyone can't tell that that's joking, I genuinely want everyone to get what they want, as long as it isn't at the expense of others. And I don't ever have to be those "others" getting screwed out of things. But I do have to imagine that NECA getting the license would mean that no one else could just do what Hasbro should've fucking done in the first fucking place.

I could do without the pink bunny headpiece for some more expressive hands or a smoke effect for the trap or even a different head. Ray seems to be the one with the most "blank" looking expressions from the 4. I'm hopeful they'll do a head pack or something to get some better ones at least for variety sake.

They all should come with more hands. At least finger-pointing end credits hands.
