That's my hope as well. I preordered the 1984 pack but I don't have a wand so I really want Hasbro to release one around the same time the pack will start shipping.

They'd be crazy not to. Gonna' have a lot of people with the pack but no blaster if they don't. I see people playing with them on Youtube yet don't see very many on Ebay of the 1984 variety. I have to wonder how many are even out there.
