So, I backed the Trap/PKE the year prior. They'd given us the entire month of December until the 31st to make sure we paid for it. And they sent us e-mails if cards declined.
For the Ecto, no such e-mails went out, and despite explicitly telling us we had until the 31st for the Trap/PKE, they didn't say how long we had for declined payments for the Ecto (because that was usually in those e-mails), but it only ended up being two weeks.
I checked my order on the eve of the 13th day randomly to see if they'd tried to charge (I don't know why the dozens of other people I heard from BBTS & my local collectible shop had theirs declined, but I heard no one got e-mails), because I use a card with $0.01 on it for preorders, so if someone gets ahold of it, they can't get any money from me, and then when I get "hey, we tried your card, but it didn't work" e-mails, I move the money over, and "retry payment."
Pulse wouldn't let me retry the payment manually, and it was past time for the customer service phone line, so I sent a message to their CS.
They responded on the 14th day that they manually cancelled my order, and "it couldn't be reopened," despite, y'know...it being a "made to order" item, so no actual inventory to worry about with pre-production orders.
So they didn't want my $400 or whatever, and now I want them all...in severe pain, let's say.
They fucked me on burnt Louis because they packed him with the same fucking BAF I'd already gotten rid of, and being a two-pack with a BAF, the price was significantly higher than a regular 2-pack in general, let alone a single figure, which I could've afforded in the middle of the GLOBAL LOCKDOWN, but couldn't afford the high 2-pack.
Then they fuck me with suited up Louis & ANY ghosts, since they didn't fucking bother to release any singularly in the fucking line that they let stagnate with barely any releases.
And then, of course, going back in time, the abysmal BAF "Terror Sentinel" from Afterlife with no fucking articulation from the swivel waist down, and minimal articulation above the swivel waist.
Hasbro fucked this entire line up. They fucked so many fucking people willing to fucking support it.
This is not theatrical hyperbole, I fucking hate them with every fucking fiber of my fucking being, and the people responsible for fucking shit up need to fucking pay with their fucking jobs at least.
