I don't mind them having retro card figures be mostly evergreen characters or things that require more accessories, but only if they use this format to reissue them and keep those characters in circulation.

Opaque and textured. Definitely textured. ...with excellent paint applications.
I imagine it sorta like Carnage.

And lots of clip-on fire effects. Though, they'll probably only give us those played-out wrap-around fire wisps again.

That’s exactly right. The modern variant got the pelvis piece meant for the classic, and vice versa.

If they show Secret Wars wave two on Tuesday, I'll be jittery until they reveal Magik. There's no telling what bizarre choices they might make to fuck with me, specifically.

I'm almost certain that I'll be at least a little disappointed. There's no way she has butterfly joints, for instance.

My closest is the 85th Anniversary Iron Fist. Ask any friend or relative, every conversation with me eventually turns to the topic of how he isn't really a classic Iron Fist -- he's modern Iron Fist, and dammit there's a big, v-shaped difference. Gi needs to look like THIS:

What's a shame is that this look isn't even what I associate with a modern Iron Fist. Immortal Iron Fist wore a green shirt with no cut out for the neck, just a standard crew collar. Had the dragon emblem printed in yellow on the front. Yellow boots rather than slippers and capri pants. To me, the 85th is much closer to classic than modern. Obviously not quite right, but not bad enough for me to want something more accurate.
