And also because they're just going to turn this into a Savage Land Rogue at some point, right?
I know my Savage Land Rogue, her skimpy, designed-by-men-for-men jungle attire is completely different than Shanna's designed-by-men-for-men jungle attire.
For starters, Rogue's top is the torn, tattered remains of not one, but two tops, her green corset that was formerly her Outback outfit, and a generic yellow X-Men t-shirt that she grabbed at random in her apartment when she emerged from the Siege Perilous completely naked in Uncanny X-Men #269 August 1990 masterfully drawn by Jim Lee (details seared into 12 year old me's brain). Two torn up tops...completely practical.
While Shanna has a freely hanging loin cloth, Rogue has (again) the remains of the bottom of her corset.
Rogue has a strip of cloth wrapped around her leg for a very good reason that we're too ignorant to know about because we've never been stuck in a dinosaur jungle. That's an easy overlay.
Shanna has some tall furry boots, Rogue has the smaller ankle-high boots.
Nope, if Hasbro doesn't want to phone in their scantly clad jungle babes, they need new sculpting for Savage Land Rogue.
