General Marvel Legends

I have probably 3-4 of the green Madrox, but I'm just not that familiar with that look. I instantly recognize the '90s X-Factor look, despite having never read the book (trading cards have gone a long way for my '90s comic knowledge). I have maybe 6 of that figure. But X-Factor Investigations Madrox is what really got me interested in the character, and I'd love to have a figure of that version.

Man, all this talk about Hepzibah has me really jonesin' for her and Raza. Get on it, Hasbro! I'm intrigued that Dwight brought up Shi'ar soldiers - that's not a suggestion I can recall seeing even here. That plus the fact that they've clearly done some scoping on Raza tells me they've been exploring more X-Men space stuff.
I could go for a 2 pack of Fang Wolverine (on an appropriate Logan body, not the Fang body we already got) with Erik The Red. That would be cool. Toss in a 5POA Jahf pack-in while you're at it Hasbro!

I only bought one Multiple Man in the 5" Toy Biz days and my best friend gave me no end of shit about that. I got 3 blues (one for each face) and then 2 greens (one for each face), then I think a third green on sale to get free shipping at one point.

I think the X-Factor Investigations look is cool, so I would also like an updated modern Jamie for my modern shelf. Probably with the jacket but I would love it if there was a way to do a version of the hands-in-pockets, jacket tucked behind look.

X-Factor Investigations is one of my favorite modern books, and it is criminally underrepresented in plastic. I know the costume designs are mostly very plain clothes. But I'd say Madrox, Siryn, Monet, and Strong Guy look costumey enough to make decent action figures. I'd also want a Layla Miller, who is very plain clothes and I don't care I love her.

The X-Factor Investigations team seems like it could benefit from an Alpha Flight-style box set. The plainclothes look might not be appealing individually but seeing (and getting) the whole team together might entice people who would otherwise pass.

I looked up Jahf as I was curious if he had popped up after his initial appearance (he has, but not too often). It was a stark reminder that his first appearance was 48 years ago, as was Hepzibah's - and that I had missed that X-Men 94 is now 50 years old. TENIME's attacks stinging a bit more now! 😀 (That and how Superman had been around for 39 years when Hepzibah was introduced, and she now has 48 years since her first appearance - no wonder her look has changed....)

Back in my day, Hepzibah was the human Hebrew queen consort to the King of Judah, Hezekiah. I don't know where you whippersnappers are getting cat lady or skunk lady from but it all sounds pretty new-fangled and apocryphal to me. But I guess it has been 2700 years ago since Uncanny Kings #32 came out.

If they release her I'm hoping she comes preposed in a position of righteousness, maybe with a baby Manasseh slug figure.

Hate to burst you bubble or make you feel old, but didn't that book run about 20 years ago?

Here we go again with the age old Marvel Legends BC vs AD battle...

Marvel considers everything from 2000 on to be modern. At least that's how they've been branding their epic collections.

I agree with them. The 21st century has been a whole different world than the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper Ages.

That better not be the only way we're getting a screaming Siryn head or I will just go without.

Put her out in the purple outfit for all I care, though I think she sported a ponytail most of the time in that era. I just want a decent screaming head that looks somewhat like the Ian Churchill look.

Lock the thread. Nothing better can be said.

If we're going to deep dive space skunk, then it's time to give some love to Frenzy, Tower, Stinger, and Timeshadow.

Boxed set for an unrecognized team from the early X-books and connects perfectly with Apocalypse, X-Factor Cyclops, Jean Grey, and the Retro X-Men lineup.

Maybe even develop that Apocalypse into a first appearance look.
