General Marvel Legends

I don't recall the specifics but Doctor Strange (which predates Shan Chi) had an after credit scene that had something to do with Benjamin Bratt.

"And they never saw him again".
Yeah, that was the Mordo tease "Too many sorcerers". And then in Dr. Strange 2 they basically reveal that this whole plot had happened offscreen between movies. Then in Dr Strange 2 the teaser is with poor Charlize Theron as Clea, in another one that clearly will never happen. I don't recommend watching the MCU supercut of all the stingers because a lot of them lead to nothing (or are clearly reworked several times between films, like Thanos).

Y'know, I think Marvel's basically got it backwards at this point in the MCU. They keep doing stingers they never deliver on, when they should be doing in media res openers like Indiana Jones or Return of the Jedi, where we just get the epic conclusion to a previous adventure we didn't see the beginning of. They did that a bit in Avengers 2 and I think Civil War, whichever one Crossbones dies in, but it feels that like should be the standard opener.

Jabba the Hutt doesn't deserve a full movie, but he's a fun 20 minute opener.

Re-release of Extremis and... Mandarin in suit.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but when I look at that Mandarin head, all I can see is Tony with long hair like some kind of clone.... for that reason alone I need a masked head for Mandarin, or I'm just going to have use the alternate head at least.

A few things:

-I didn't update the Rumor/Leak Thread with the Iron Man/Mandaring 2-pack reveal. I posted in that thread with my thoughts on the rumored Iron Man Retro Card wave.
-Mandarin is a character that is on the list for a One A Day entry. He will remain on that list. The suited version does not eliminate him for a future entry.
-Not getting into my reasons, but I will purchase this 2-pack... at a deep, deep discount.
-Suited Mandarin joins Namorita, Moondragon, Daimon Hellstrom and others in the "make the real costume" list.

Like, if they'd at least sculpted better hands for him so they actually all had his trademark rings, I'd probably have grabbed the set just to use his head and hands to pop onto a base body and track down or make a soft goods robe. But I'm not doing all that just for lame fisted hands with the rings on them.

Wish Hasbro would stop with the combined ab crunch/torso ball and just do ball joints on both. This setup poses so oddly and removes waist swivel entirely.

I don’t even know why they bothered with the non-ring hands. I guess I could pop the head and ring hands on a Mordo body or something.

On the other hand, the trench coat and all the other new parts look great. I just don’t think the suited Mandarin from that one run is my preferred look. Iron Man’s definitely got colors closer to what I was looking for in the Extremis Armor and I’m glad they’re putting him out there.

The bare minimum you need for a Marvel action figure collection is one each of the following:

Spider-Man
Captain America
Thor
Iron Man
Hulk
Thing (to represent the FF)
Wolverine (to represent the X-Men)
Thanos (one heavy-hitter to represent bad guys)

Bare minimum.
Do MCU count? I don't have any comic Iron Mans, but lots of MCU armors.
